The tour is perfect for a family as it includes both child friendly and cultural points of interest and experiences. I would recommend bringing about 1,500,000 per person per day to get the full expereince as there are optional extras offered by the sub contracted tour companies such as scuba diving, animal feeding, shopping, etc. (if you contact the tour agent they can provide a more accurate budget for each day). As for a solo traveler if you're looking for a whimsical trip with good opportunities for nice photos this tour is perfect but it lacks deep cultural immersion and cultural land marks. The hotels were lovely, clean and had good staff. The breakfast was to be expected of a Vietnamese hotel. The tour operators were amazing. Any problem I had I let them know and they had it sorted quickly and efficiently. It was a great trip, filled with laughs, excitement and a nice overview of Nha Trang and Dalat. I full recommend it, especially for families or groups.

Amazing, intimate & day Saigon to Vung Tau Dad, son and daughter, Just completed an 8 day tour on and off road from Saigon to Vun Tau. Absolutely fantastic, reasonable fitness required. You are riding through amazing country side and local villages that don’t see many tourists. A bonus. Accommodation first class ( all 4-5 star other than one hotel- that was more like 3). We stayed at 7 different hotels so 1 out of 7. Not bad. It wasn’t about the accommodation. It worked. The bikes were good, not perfect but did their job. Our guide and driver- can’t speak highly enough how fantastic they were. They made the trip. Nothing was too much trouble. Any issues, they fixed it. The best part was the country and the people we met on the way. The friendliest people we’ve met over 40 years of traveling. Just brilliant.
