Overall nice tour of the country. There isn’t a whole lot for tourists to see but they managed to make it all into the itinerary. Plenty of time to explore Chisinau in the evenings. Going to Transnistria was the highlight. Note that the itinerary is less if traveling along without a group. The dinner on day 1 and in Transnistria is not included. Guides were different every day but all knowledgeable.
Explore Moldova: 5-Day All-Inclusive Soviet Heritage & Wine TourI had a good experience touring Moldova and visiting wineries in spite of the fact the Wine Festival was canceled due to the COVID 19 problem. The tour gave me a very good overview of the country its history, culture, people, food etc. I added a day to the tour and if I had to do it over I probably would add a second day to visit Odessa Ukraine next door. It is quite close.
