This tour exceeded all of my expectations. From the warm greeting at the airport upon arrival to the the transfer on departure, the services of the guides & drivers was extremely professional and always helpful. The tour covers what the brochure indicates; however, the days maybe switched. This happened to me and it was well worth it since 6 additional travelers from around the world joined for 2 of the 3 days which enhanced my overall enjoyment of this adventure. The 2 1/2 walking tour of Chisinau was superb and the guide will tailor the pace to you. Other highlights were the wine tasting sessions (2) with the Milestii Mici cellars holding the world record for wine bottles in storage (1.5 million) and the day in Transnistria where there are more statues of Lenin and Stalin than all of Moscow these days. You will be notified via WhatsApp as to the pick-up times and daily activities the evening prior. So my thanks to Lilia and her colleagues for making this such a wonderful experience.
Explore Moldova: 5-Day All-Inclusive Soviet Heritage & Wine TourI had a good experience touring Moldova and visiting wineries in spite of the fact the Wine Festival was canceled due to the COVID 19 problem. The tour gave me a very good overview of the country its history, culture, people, food etc. I added a day to the tour and if I had to do it over I probably would add a second day to visit Odessa Ukraine next door. It is quite close.
