I travelled with bamboo to on the 2c2tours trip in August.....this was my first time to do anything like this and was a little apprehensive tbh and didn't know what to expect.

This trip far exceeded any expectations I could have possibly had.....Arm our and Naworn our tour guides where just lovely ....from the very first day they felt like friends who you might possibly have known a few years not just a day.
The trip was full and informative fun and emotional...and just an absolute pleasure to have been involved in..i have come home from this trip with 20 new friends...a bamfam who I'm sure will remain just that forever.

What an absolutely amazing adventure. I travelled alone for the first time ever and from the very beginning when I was greeted at the airport by Arm and fellow group members I felt completely at ease.…What an absolutely amazing adventure. I travelled alone for the first time ever and from the very beginning when I was greeted at the airport by Arm and fellow group members I felt completely at ease. Then the fun began! WOW is a massive understatement! The entire group worked and partied well the entire trip and I believe this is largely because of how both Arm & Navorn coordinated both work & leisure activities. Arm, with his great energy, massive smile, passion, humour & sincerity and Navorn's gentle nature, passion and willingness to always assist made our trip one to never forget. Talk about 'opposites', but to their credit, Arm & Navorn work amazingly well together to ensure the entire group is enjoying this adventure to the full. Thankyou Bamboo, I will never forget this trip. I'm already planning another!

From start to finish, Arm was absolutely the best guide we could have hoped for. He communicated all necessary information in a clear and humorous manner (where appropriate), and went out of his way …From start to finish, Arm was absolutely the best guide we could have hoped for. He communicated all necessary information in a clear and humorous manner (where appropriate), and went out of his way to make sure each and everyone of us had the most wonderful experience. He has a very positive work ethic, as well as a great sense of fun and also likes to enjoy the social side of life. He made sure we could all experience various aspects of life and see all the key sites in diverse places such as Bangkok, the elephant village, Siem Reap and Angkor Wat etc. He also went to great lengths to make sure two on our group who had special dietary requirements were properly catered for, which was extremely important.
Arm played a pivotal role in ensuring each and every one of us felt included, well cared for and gained the highest possible outcome from their Bamboo adventure. I would have no hesitation in recommending Arm for an award.

The trip totally exceeded my expectations - superbly organised right from Arm's friendly greeting at the airport. This was my first volunteering trip and the furthest I have ever travelled, but I felt relaxed throughout and can honestly say this has been an incredibly awesome experience. Arm and Navorn ensured that we were always cared for and gave so much of themselves to us for the duration of the trip - bringing us together to form a dynamic group. With Arm's endless energy and humour and Navorn's infectious smiles and love for his home country, the group achieved a HUGE sense of achievement. Both guides are great ambassadors for Bamboo and work well together to ensure a life changing and unforgettable experience. Many shared moments of laughter, sweat and tears. Huge respect to Bamboo.

Bamboo should be very proud to have these two men working for them.
The hotel and food was brilliant and I would highly recommend it.
For the tuk tuks fantastic, always there when we needed them, I felt safe and they were very friendly.

We arrived to huge smiles and every single day has been filled with authentic and truly memorable experiences. From elephants to Temples, house building to visiting Circus's, authentic food to party nights, and the way they have shared their own unique love and passion for all things Thai/Cambodian/Bamboo. We have met and worked alongside the Cambodian people this week and it's been something I will never forget and hold dear for the rest of my days. I feel truly privileged and humbled to have been part of this fabulous tour. One last mention for my fellow travelers, each and everyone has made this an experience I will never ever forget. This was one of the best trips I have ever been on! Thailand & Cambodia were both beautiful; I got to see the Major temples in each place with local tour guides (Sok Chea in Siem Riep was amazing- sup…This was one of the best trips I have ever been on! Thailand & Cambodia were both beautiful; I got to see the Major temples in each place with local tour guides (Sok Chea in Siem Riep was amazing- super enthusiastic and informative), as well as really be informed about their culture and history. Hanging with the elephants in Surin and being part of a building project in Siem Riep was incredible. Not to mention the people I shared this experience with - having them definitely made for a better trip. Thank you to the local families that opened their homes up to us, my Bamfam team, and Bamboo for making this an unforgettable experience; I had Navorn with Bamboo as a guide and he was the best. He always ensured that you got to experience the highlights of each place in the time we were there. He always made sure everyone was safe at all times which was awesome being in a foreign country and having a sense of security. Lastly, he made sure everyone had tons of photos during work times & daily outgoings to ensure everyone can document this trip. Super awesome to have such a fun guide that was their to make or experience the best it could be.

The countries and people we met were amazing, the elephant experience at Surin was nothing short of spectacular and the Cambodian week and teaching/building project were truly life-changing! Nevorn was our guide for the 2 week tour and he was thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable and fantastic all around. He took care of us like a father and made us feel safe while enjoying the best adventure yet. I would recommend him and this experience to anyone ready to make a real difference ❤️

Navorn was so supportive in Cambodia. It was a pleasure to be in the Water Pump building team with him.

I had the pleasure of Navron's company for two whole weeks while on the 2 countries tour with Bamboo. He is kind, caring, attentive and an overall great man. He is kind, caring, attentive and an overall great man. Our tour was over 50 and we had an awesome time. Navron assisted our group in Thailand and when our main guide was unable to cross over into Cambodia he took the reins and ran with it. He booked tours for us, kept us in line, kept us safe and well informed about what was happening - Bamboo take notice - this young man is a keeper!

He is a true gentleman. Honest, extremely hard-working, sociable, organised and approachable. He worked tirelessly with us all 24/7 to ensure that we had an amazing and fulfilling experience. I cannot praise Navorn enough. He truly is an exceptional young man and an exceptional Tour guide.

Pahn and Navorn were both very knowledge…I've just returned from the 2 Countries Young at Heart tour of Thailand and Cambodia. Our guides were Pahn Bamboo and Navorn Eum. What a wonderful time I had. Pahn and Navorn were both very knowledgeable. Both spoke English well and were caring for our welfare. The only suggestion I would make is that the work in Cambodia was split into two sessions with s 3 hour break in the middle of the day. In this break, we waited at the school. I would suggest that during this time we could go back to the hotel for a swim or shower which would help freshen is up for the afternoon session.

This was very down to the dedication and hard work of our two hosts Navorn and Heidi. Both are consumate professionals and go that extra mile to ensure you have the best time ever.

Spent 2 weeks with Bamboo and Navorn as our tour guide. During the 2 weeks he was always available, knowledgeable and if any problems always sorted them out quickly and efficiently.

The first week was in Thailand and although he doesn't speak much Thai he managed to ensure everything was translated for the tour. He was always around taking photographs' of events and posting them on Facebook for the group to see.
The second week was in his native Cambodia, he organised excursions in the evenings after the days activities and was fully active in the activities building a toilet for a Cambodian family.
All in all Navorn ensured that the trip was a fantastic experience and I look forward to doing another tour in the future. He is an asset to Bamboo.

Every morning he told us what was ha6that day then what we were doing next during the day and at night what we were going to do the next day every thing ran smoothly because of this . He always answered our questions and if he did not know the answer he would find out in needed medication or were slightly sick he would only take us to the best pharmacies that spoke the best english . He would suggest things we could do in our free time and if we wanted to he would organize it for us including the tuktuk there and back letting us know the price beforehand. He took us to amazing place to eat and suggested places to eat the little off the beat places locals know about it was so yummy. He always made sure we were safe. He is funny to you can have a good laugh with him he is down to earth and still gets the task do with out incidence. In Thailand even though it is not his country he alway made sure he knew were to go and in Cambodia he was fantastic he knew every nook and cranny were to go and wete not to go how not to get riped off by a tuktuk driver and everything he didn't just sit back and wstch us he joind in helping getting his hands dirty. I think he is just a brilliant guide and would recommend him to anyone.I can't wait to do another tour and I hope I get him as my guide

I have have the privilege of spending the last 3 weeks with Navorn Eum as our leader in Thailand and Cambodia. The last week I was the only one who chose to stay for the last week. Navorn was beside us always informing and helping with everything. He is extremely attentive and just a super nice person to be around. I have enjoyed this experience so much! By the way anyone thinking of taking the extra week, its well worth it!!

This was my current "trip of a lifetime" and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Bamboo is a wonderful organization with truly awesome guides.
My guide Novorn meet me at the airport in Bangkok…This was my current "trip of a lifetime" and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Bamboo is a wonderful organization with truly awesome guides.
My guide Novorn meet me at the airport in Bangkok, and for the next 14 days did whatever needed to be done to ensure our group was comfortable and taken care of. He did a great job of explaining our daily activities, including making arrangements for outings we would enjoy in Siem Reap. He is personable and a joy to be around.
I was on the toilet project in the Village in Cambodia. I was so impressed and thankful at how hard he worked right along side our group. His help and encouragement were a blessing in the extreme heat. And he made it fun.
Bamboo should be proud to have such a capable and knowledgeable guide on staff. Novorn is a keeper. :)
