About me:Favourite Activities: Traveling, meeting new people, finding new places, jungle trekking, rock climbing, and having drinks with old and new acquaintances- that’s when the stories start flow free. In 2013, after some soul searching, I gave everything I owned to charity that didn’t fit into my backpack and moved to Asia to live my passion for travel and the love I have of showing others what it is all about. While being on the LBW Team I have had the chance to sit on the nicest beaches, with the kindest souls, and the most adventurous travellers in the world. It has opened my eyes and stolen my heart. I will never forget the steps in my life that have brought me here. The only regret you’ll have about traveling is that you couldn’t stay longer! “If you want to experience something you have never done, you’ll need to go place you’ve never been!”

We had a tonne of fun and I wish we could have continued traveling with him. He was there when you needed him for anything. He was a perfect mix of professionalism along be with just being one of the guys. I would travel again with him and LBW in a heartbeat.

Immediately I could sense much he loved his job and how passionate he was about teaching you the way of Thai culture. He helped me fall in love with a country in more ways than I could possibly explain. One year later I was planning my next adventure to South East Asia. I wanted to make my trip even better than the last one. First stop Thailand. I decided to revisit some of my favourite places Dan and LBW had shown me in Thailand. Next stop Vietnam. I knew how passionate Dan was about his Vietnam tours and decided if he would be my guide I would have to do the LBW Vietnam tour. I didn't think anything could one up my previous Thailand trip but was I ever wrong. Nineteen amazing days in Vietnam as Dan as our tour guide. He toured us around this beautiful country just like it was his home. Those 19 days flew by faster than anything in my life. The very last day on tour I remember thinking about how my trip could have been improved and I couldn't think of a single thing that could have made it any better. Dan could always answer any questions we had about Vietnam. He always made sure each and every traveler had the best time and enjoyed every activity that we did. You can tell he truly enjoys his job and is very passionate about teaching you about his favourite country. He helped me fall in love with a second country. He is by far one of the best all around tour guides I've ever had. Thank you so much LBW and Dan for making Thailand and Vietnam so unforgettable.

We accomplished so much and had so many wonderful experiences that would have never been possible without Dan. Dan is a fantastic leader in a country which can be intimidating to some travelers. He goes above in beyond in every situation to make sure everyone is taken care of and having a good time. Dan definitely had his work cut out for him with our group and Dan was nothing but patient with us. Again, we were a fun little handful of 15ish people so things did come up. Dan continually handed each situation calmly and always had a quick solution or alternate to anything we presented to him. Dan taught me more about life and myself in 3 weeks than I have in years. I will never forget our 3 weeks in Vietnam and wouldn't trade it for anything! I'm still in contact with my LBW Vietnam family and have visited them around the world since our tour. None of which would have been possible without Dan and the tone he sets with his LBW tour. I would recommend Dan as a tour guide to anyone!
