Phan is mature beyond his years and has many successful years infront of him as a fantastic tour guide. I have two examples of this:

-On two occasions two people were not feeling well and Phan went above and beyond to help even at ridiculous times in the morning.
-Phan sadly suffered a loss in his family during the end of our tour and found out whilst the group were on an evening activity. Phan remained entirely professional and you would have never known - the group and I could not have been more impressed with his attitude.
My Bamboo Vietnam tour with Phan was my fourth and final tour in Asia and it was by far the most enjoyable and best value for money!
Will be recommending the tour and especially the tour guide to Phan to all of my friends looking at traveling SE Asia! Hopefully this won't be the last time I see D!

All of the planned trips were fun and enjoyable however I feel that there should have been more time spent in Ha Long Bay.

Jane and D made the the whole trip go nice and smoothly nothing was ever too much for them and they certainly know how to have a good time! Always thinking of things to do and they create a friendly atmosphere for the whole group to get to know each other. My favourite place was halong bay, the views there are just spectacular! I wish I got to spend more time there but over all I rate the trip I good solid 10/10 �

They really helped us to make the most out of the trip by always giving us advice about what to do and where to go. D definitely makes it an eventful night out everytime!! My favourite part of the trip was the cu chi tunnels as the tunnels were really interesting and i got to shoot stuff :)

Everyone in my tour group was really lovely :)
My favourite place to visit on the tour was Ho Chi Minh as I really like the atmosphere of the whole city and there is so much to do here. The Cu Chi Tunnels were really cool and we got to shoot guns there yay.
I also really liked Halong bay as it was really beautiful and the beach resort we went to was cool, although perhaps it would have been better to have spent one less night there.
All in all, the trip has been really great and really well organised and I would definitely recommend the Vietnam Experience with Bamboo tours to other travellers!!

The itinerary was perfect, we started north then made our way down south. My highlights include the bike ride in Hoi An, basket bamboo rafting, quad biking in the white sand dunes and volunteering in the school and in the village. The over right stay in Ha Long bay was amazing too! Luckily I had a great group to share my experience with and two amazing tour guides who were not only helpful but we're so friendly throughout the trip. I couldn't recommend bamboo more! Thank you for the best 3 weeks x

From the moment I arrived in Bangkok I felt welcomed in as a part of The Bamboo family. Every staff member was very knowledgeable and excited to share their culture and history with us. I felt as if I really got to see what everyday life is like in Thailand and Cambodia. I felt complete support by the Bamboo staff. Pahn and Dimong were amazing! They helped us to understand the importance of the projects we were volunteering for and showed so much enthusiasm. Their love for country was inspiring and heartwarming. I had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend a Bamboo trip to anyone looking to travel abroad. It was a life enriching experience! I will hold Bamboo, Thailand and Cambodia, my fellow volunteers, and tour guides forever in my heart! I love Bamboo!

Not only was he brilliant with informing us about what we were doing and where we were going but his knowledge and…Had an amazing 3 weeks in Vietnam last month and this was mainly down to our guide D! Not only was he brilliant with informing us about what we were doing and where we were going but his knowledge and love for his country made us appreciate it all the more. D was a good guide but also a good friend to everyone in the group and made us all feel like one big family. Travelling in another country can sometimes be hard but we never felt this at all, everything ran smoothly (even over New Years when the country is crazy) we experienced everything Vietnam had to offer and more. The volunteering was a highlight for me, we helped in a local village which was something most travellers don't get to see. I would recommend Bamboo to anyone wanting to travel and will definitely use them again!!
