I was originally due to take the Patundas trek, but due to flight cancellations Exploria and I agreed to switch to a 2-day Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek, and a 1-day hike in the mountains above Karimabad. I had no regrets - the views and treks were just incredible!!! A huge thanks to Ajmal, Majid and team - as I had some unexpected changes of plan (out of anyone's control) and they always helped to solve the issues swiftly and effectively. Ajmal was a very welcoming and sociable host, giving up time to make me feel welcome and helping to arrange SIM cards and visits to local shops. His English and knowledge of the area are outstanding. Asif was an excellent guide - calm, knowledge (and an excellent photographer!!) The quality of accommodation throughout was very pleasing (and varied, from wooden chalets, to yurts, and of course - tents on the trek!) Having Exploria organised everything for me took a lot of stress away - allowing me to enjoy and immerse myself fully in the experience. I will certainly be going home to tell everyone to come here (and with Exploria!) Thank you Exploria for everything!!
