Bali truly amazed me — the variety of impressions, experiences, and encounters during the tour made it an unforgettable adventure. Three highlights stood out for me in particular:
**1. The Gili Islands**
The Gili Islands were my absolute favorite! The relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, the fact that there are no cars — only bicycles and small e-scooters — and the fun beach party vibe made it the perfect place to unwind. I felt completely free, enjoying every moment and just going with the flow.
**2. The Rice Terraces in Ubud**
Another unforgettable experience were the stunning rice terraces in Ubud. The views were breathtaking, and our stop at the coffee and tea plantation was a real highlight. We learned a lot about the history and the process of making local coffee and tea — a wonderful cultural insight.
**3. Ubud itself – yoga, little shops & group moments**
Ubud has such a unique charm: the many small boutiques, the morning yoga session at the hostel, and our fun game night made the time there really special.
There were so many small, beautiful moments with the group that made traveling such a meaningful experience. I truly appreciated that even with a packed schedule, I could just relax and not worry about the organization — everything ran so smoothly.
Even though we couldn’t go snorkeling with manta rays because of the weather, our alternative snorkeling trip was still a great experience!

When I think back on this tour, Agnes is the person who made it truly special. She wasn’t just our tour leader — she was the heart and soul of the entire trip. Her energy, her laughter, and her ability to connect people shaped the whole group dynamic.
What impressed me most was her strength and positivity: just two days before the tour started, she had a scooter accident and was still covered in bruises and wounds. Yet she never complained, never slowed down, and never lost her radiant spirit. Instead, she kept us motivated, made sure everything went smoothly, and helped us all enjoy every moment — an incredible achievement that I deeply admire.
On a personal note, I had countless deep and meaningful conversations with Agnes — about life, dreams, experiences, and what travel really means. She has a rare gift for truly listening while sharing thoughtful insights that stay with you. Our talks were honest, warm, and inspiring — they made me feel genuinely seen and understood.

All in all, the Tour was great, but it's not much time to rest.
- Some days were fully packed with Program and it was just too much -> e.g. Nusa Penida Day
- Almost everyone got sick (stress and not much of sleeping are one of the many reasons).

ATV
It was incredibly fun to drive the quad through the jungle and feel the adrenaline. The guides were very funny and constantly had everything under control. Highlight was the mud fight and that we were dirty from top to bottom at the end.
Pub Crawl
It was a really good vibe and great music. The timing with changing the bar was just right. I danced and sang a lot.
Of course, the group was also a highlight. There were many good conversations and insights into other cultures.
The accommodation was always well located. The staff was always extremely friendly and the rooms were clean.
Agnes was always full of energy and was for everything to have fun. For me it was a mystery how you can have so much energy. Everything was always well organised and we got the informations as well as a textmassage to read. If there was a problem somewhere, such as in the restaurant, she always worked directly and helpful. She is a very open person and is also interested in other cultures.
I can only recommend the tour.?

All in all, I have to say this trip was an absolute dream.
Bali had always been on my bucket list, and during these 14 days I had the chance to discover something new every single day. It’s hard to p…All in all, I have to say this trip was an absolute dream.
Bali had always been on my bucket list, and during these 14 days I had the chance to discover something new every single day. It’s hard to pick just three highlights, but if I had to rank them, I’d probably put the Pub Crawl Night in first place.
Second would be the Family Dinner in Ubud, where I got to meet so many cool new people.
And third place would go to the ATV tour, which was packed with action and a lot of fun.
Personally, I could have skipped the last waterfall in Lombok – that one didn’t feel absolutely necessary to me. But apart from that, all the activities were great and well planned.
Accommodation & Food:
All the places we stayed at were very nice, but Tropico in Lombok stood out for me – super stylish, with multiple pools and spacious rooms.
In general, I also prefer twin rooms over shared dorms with bunk beds like in the hostel.
Food-wise, everything was pretty much as I expected – tasty and satisfying!
Group & Organization:
Our tour guide Agnes was always incredibly kind and accommodating. We had great conversations with her, spent fun evenings together, and shared some amazing experiences.
Sure, sometimes the schedule or order of activities could have been organized differently – but that’s always tricky with a group.
Our group was also relatively small, which was nice in some ways, but it also meant it was a bit harder to form lasting friendships.
All in all:
This trip is something I’ll never forget – and I’ll be thinking back on it for a long time to come.

I really enjoyed the the tour Bali&Beyond, especially for me as a solo traveler it was perfect. I got to know so many different people and learned a lot for myself!
I really liked the activities we did but I think my Top 3 actives were:
- Nusa Penida - Diamond Beach & Kelingking Beach
- Ubud - Puppy Therapy in the Hostel Puri Garden
- Karaoke with a really amazing group of different people
But I also enjoyed the other amazing activities!
Accommodation of the hotels&hostels:
In conclusion the hotels and hostels were always very clean with nice rooms. Every hotel was in the center of each places and near the beach or just a 10 minute walk away. The rooms were big enough and the bathrooms are very clean. Also the staff in the hotel were always very friendly and helped you every time with everything.
Especially to me I really liked the Puri Garden Hostel, it was a modern and cozy hostel with lots of young people. It was also very clean and the staff was very nice!
Another highlight was the El Tropico Hotel in the end. It was a very beautiful hotel with nice big rooms and the bathrooms were a highlight for theirselves!
But I have to say I wished we stayed more in hostels with dorm rooms. Especially for people like me who travel alone it would be nicer to conact to other people and the group instead of just staying always with one person:).
All in all I liked every hotel.
In my opinion the group leader Agnes did a great job. Already on the first day I felt really good in the group and I really liked her. She was really motivated and take care that we get the whole experience of the country. Everything was good planed. Agnes always helped us and you could talk to her.
It was not like a group and their leader it was more like a group of friends who travel together!
It was my first tour trip and solo trip but I had an amazing time and I would recommend to everyone to do this!

I could list so many more things, but I think these were the most special to me!
The accommodations and places we stayed were super comfortable and well-located. I loved having air con after long, hot days, and everything felt clean and safe. The staff was also really, really friendly!
Agnes, you were awesome. You brought so much energy into the group and were always up for whatever fun we had in mind. You kept everything organized while still giving us the freedom to explore and enjoy. I always felt like I could ask you anything, and your recommendations were spot on.

She had everything in order and organized which made hopping from destination to destination enjoyable. We saw the most beautiful views and ate at delicious restaurants. All of our accommodations were clean with friendly staff. Diamond beach was one of my favorites with breathtaking views ! We had a great time and would definitely come back!

She kept our group on schedule and entertained every step of the way. From conversations over amazing food to the informative tours of rice fields to holy temples to best views of the best beaches!
My favorite adventures were the snorkelling in deep clear blue waters filled with beautiful coral and fish, ATV riding through caves and mud pools and surfing in warmest ocean waters! If I could do anything different, it would be to book a longer trip. There's just so much to explore!

All the restaurants were carefully chosen, so we didn’t have to worry about getting the infamous “Bali belly” and I can proudly say I didn’t get it! The accommodation was also spot-on. I especially appreciated that we stayed in twin rooms, which made it super easy to connect with our roommates and form new friendships quickly.
A huge thank you to our tour guide Agnes, who made the whole trip extra special and so much fun! She always kept us well-informed day by day, and also made sure we had support for both arrival and departure which I really appreciated.
All in all, I can absolutely recommend Wanderlands to anyone who wants a stress-free trip full of unforgettable memories!

Having optional extra activities is also very nice to allow a bit of flexibility. However, I want to suggest that the restaurants chosen for lunches and dinners could have been less western, both in culinary and price. I wanted to use my time to try traditional food but many times that was not an option. I know the company probably choses western, high-end placed to guarantee safe meals, but it does ruin a bit of the experience in my opinion (there are so many cheaper, local restaurants that I am sure as safe as well). Other than that, the trip was amazing, with comfortable accommodation and transportation as well!

The Hotels and Hostels were all really nice, clean and modern. All of them had very welcoming and kind staff and the breakfast was delicious.
I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone, who wants to have a nice time traveling with a small group of people.

The tour was packed with great activities and experiences which I wouldn’t have done on my own, like surfing and snorkelling.
Agnes was the best guide we could have asked for. She was so much fun and full of energy and that’s how the tour felt too thanks to her.
There was a range of ages on the tour, which I was worried about leading up to the tour but this was far from a problem. We left good friends.
The communication from Wanderlands themselves throughout the process was also great. Thank you!

The hotels and hostels were very good and we had every thing we needed. I will definitely miss the breakfast, it was always really good.
Our tour guide Agnes was such a kind and welcoming person and we had lots of great and funny moments together. She made sure we could see everything and enjoy our time in Bali. I would recommend this trip to everyone.

I really enjoyed every the *activities*. I can't really decide which one was the best because everything and everyday was so much fun. But my top three activities were definitely the surflesson in Canggu, the pub crawl in gilli T and the snorkeling around the gilli islands.
At the end of the day we all were very tired cause the days are full, but it is so worth it. Because like this we were able to see and try out so many things. And there were also some days or afternoons we’ve got freetime and could just do whatever we wanted. But overall I really liked the whole program and every activity on the tour.
Every accommodation was really beautiful and almost luxurious for me. Absolutely not a "hostel-backpacking feeling“ on this tour but chic hotels with great rooms.
The best one: El Tropico Hotel in Kuta,Lombok! But every accommodation was great ! So here too there is nothing negative to say.
My group leader in this tour was Agnes. And what else can I say than that we absolutely loved her! She was not only an incredible tour guide who was able to answer all our questions and organized everything incredibly well, but she also was like a friend who traveled with us, with whom we could exchange ideas and simply have fun together.
I loved that she joined us on every activity, like the pub crawl or snorkeling she was like a very good friend to us, but also someone we knew we could always turn to if we needed help or anything. She was always very lovely to all of us, created a good atmosphere, and was incredibly amazing!
I enjoyed every moment of the trip and am so grateful for this time.

She gave us an insight into the life in Bali and the locals. She was also always open to questions and was always able to help us with all sort of things.
Our accommodations during the tour were always awesome. They were well located, not far from the beach or shopping streets and everything was easily accessible.
It was always clean and the included breakfast very delicious.

Our tour leader Agnes deserves much credit. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure everyone was having a great time. Whether recommending hidden spots or solving any issues, she handled everything excellently.
