She not once but twice made us her special spring roles (she has a secret recipe) and they were delicious!

She is one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met, nothing was ever too much trouble. Whether it was helping organise activities, answering endless questions, or just checking in to make sure everyone was okay, she did it all with such warmth and care.
Her knowledge as a local was incredible. She didn’t just show us the standard tourist spots—she gave us real insight into the culture, the best places to eat, hidden gems, and how to make the most of our free time. Because of her, we experienced so much more than we ever would have on our own.
What truly stood out to me was her generosity and compassion. She consistently went out of her way to support everyone in the group, always putting others first and ensuring that no one missed out on experiences. That level of kindness and selflessness is something you don’t come across often, and it made such a difference to the entire trip.
She is such a loving, caring, and genuine person, and she created such a positive, fun, and supportive atmosphere for the whole group. Our trip simply wouldn’t have been the same without her.

She was flexible with adjusting the additional activities to cater to our groups preferences, was able to solve problems flawlessly and quickly, and made great decisions that benefit the entire group. Dian let us leave earlier in the morning for our island hopping adventures to ensure we were there before the big groups arrived which made an huge different for our group. She was always taking the best photos of us for our memories, and took care of us when we had some small injuries or illnesses. She immersed our group in the Filipino culture as much as she possibly could which our group loved! Dian truly went above and beyond for us, and after spending 10 days with her I felt like I was part of her family. Any group that gets Dian as their tour guide is extremely lucky. LOVE YOU DIAN

However I was disappointedby the camping trip as the tents weren't clean(sand in tents, rubbish and unsanitary). Overall an amazing trip!

The highlight from the trip was definitely island hopping. Some lowlights were the ferry and our tent on the camping night which was left quite dirty. We also had a late meal in the dark which made the evening uncomfortable. All in all this was an unforgettable tour that I would highly recommend.

The trip had a good number of included activities. I found conyoning, kayaking, cooking class and snorkeling really fun. Although I can't swim, I felt so comfortable doing most of water activities thanks to our awesome boat guides. I’ll cherish many moments from this trip for a long time. l highly recommend it!

Everything was very well organized from start to finish. Dian took care of organizing all the activities, transfers, flights and accommodation and was a great guide on the tour. Dian was not just a tour guide, but a really great friend who looked after everyone's well-being and was very keen to ensure that we all had a great and unforgettable time. Thanks to her extensive knowledge of art, culture, tradition and insider tips for the individual islands, we had a varied trip with the perfect mix of action, partying and relaxation. Dian is an absolute sweetheart and together with her we made every day our own party. We had an unforgettable vacation in paradise and I would book another tour with Wanderlands Travels - and especially with Dian as our tour guide - at any time.

Dian was a fantastic guide- she as friendly, helpful and most importantly she made me feel safe. I can’t swim so when I told her that she made sure I did not miss out on anything. She also took extra precaution to ensure I was included! She made the whole experience so much better.

Our tour leader, Dian, was amazing. She constantly went above and beyond to make sure we had fun and were safe. Even on the days somebody was sick or tired, she would go out of her way to make sure they got medicine or whatever the person needed most. Thank you Dian for a wonderful trip!

The route of the tour was really enjoyable as we got to see all the important points and beautiful beach. The organization of the bus was also great, allowing us to get everywhere easily.

However, there is room for improvement regarding the announcements in the daily schedule. I would have appreciated it if the daily agenda, meeting points, and times had been communicated in the WhatsApp group created for this purpose. Often, these updates came only intermittently and not to everyone. Many times, they were very last-minute (e.g., just 2 minutes in advance), making it difficult to manage my time. Even when I asked for clarification, there were sometimes no precise answers. This stressed me out because I never knew how much time I had left for each location. I also occasionally felt that there was not enough attention to whether all participants were present before we moved on, which made me feel a bit insecure.
On the other hand, the selection of restaurants was really good and varied. Our tour guide, Dian, was very kind and always took photos of us when we wanted, and checked to ensure everything was fine during meals. I was also surprised with cake and decorations for my birthday.

I had an amazing time exploring the Philippines with Wanderlands Travel. I selected this tour because it was one of the only options I could find that included snorkelling with whale sharks, as well a…I had an amazing time exploring the Philippines with Wanderlands Travel. I selected this tour because it was one of the only options I could find that included snorkelling with whale sharks, as well as, the sardine run - both of which were highlights for me! The island hopping excursions also featured some of the best snorkelling experiences I’ve had, with the opportunity to see coral reef and turtles. The tour winds down with a few beach days in El Nido so I would recommend traveling to another island rather than extending your stay here after the tour. Tour itinerary aside, our guide Dian was outstanding. She did an incredible job of being both personable, as well as, professional. She was great at setting our expectations on accommodations/activities and updating us on our daily itinerary. This was my first time doing a tour with a local guide and I appreciated that she was able to provide her own personal knowledge and insights - she also makes incredible spring rolls! Thank you Dian for making this a memorable vacation and for helping me on the second last night in El Nido! (You didn’t have to and I appreciate you so so much for being there for me!). Anyone is lucky to have Dian as their guide (wanderlands please give her a raise!)

The tour guide Dian was amazing helping everyone with things from translating to helping organise activities that weren’t included in the package, organising dinner venues every night and even helping barter for a better deal at some shops. I don’t think we could’ve have asked her to do any more then she did.
Highlights - seeing the whale sharks (obviously) and the 3 nights in port barton.
Lowlights - hard to find any but the accommodation in moalboal wasn’t amazing (not that we spent much time in the room) and long trips in the car (worth the journeys, but some were very long).
Thanks again Dian and wanderlands for an amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back to the Phillipines because of this.

It was so easy and exciting, Dian made sure we got where we needed to be with ease, even when plans changed or things didn’t go as expected. She recommended things to do in our spare time and organised the activities for us with the best guides - it was perfect. The itinerary was brilliant, I particularly loved the island hopping in Port Barton, Canyoning in Cebu and snorkelling in Port Barton with the sardine run. For improvements I would recommend shorter beach days when it’s 40 degrees, we spent 6 hours at the beach on our second last day but it was really hot being outside for so long. My other suggestion is communicating a bit better regarding when we will be eating that day. A few times there was miscommunication about when we will be eating and so we missed lunch and then were pretty hungry by the afternoon. Besides that, I loved it and cannot fault it. Thank you for the memories and incredible holiday!
