Yaima was my guide on the tour to Vinales. She was a great guide. We had lots of fun and she gave us a lot of interesting informations. I was really happy to travel with her.

I did not know what to expect going to Cuba. Was it going to be safe? Was there going to be a language barrier? Was I going to be able to relax? Upon our arrival we met our tour guide Jaima. There was…I did not know what to expect going to Cuba. Was it going to be safe? Was there going to be a language barrier? Was I going to be able to relax? Upon our arrival we met our tour guide Jaima. There was no language barrier, we felt safe and relaxed and very soon found out how much the Cuban people loved American tourists. The Cuban people are friendly and compassionate. After 15 days on a tour with Jaima we felt like family. She is a wealth of knowledge about Cuban history and its culture.We want to someday go back and take another tour with Jaima in Cuba. Jaima is a special person: we still keep in touch with her.

I had always resisted booking tours and wanted to do my own thing, but my experience with Yaima completely changed my mind about tours, and I really am thankful for the beautiful experience and all the new learning about the history, culture and sociology of Cuba. I have a much deeper appreciation and respect for Cuba. Yaima is a worthy ambassador and fabulous at leading a great experience for people lucky enough to get a tour with Yaima.

I will never forget her yelling out “WALKING!” to let us know that we’d better follow her or get lost in Cuba! My memories of my time in Cuba will stay with me for the rest of my life. Her style is relaxed yet assured. She was able to provide a great deal of context when answering the myriad questions that came from our inquisitive group. She also has an excellent sense of humor which is so important when working with a variety of personalities.

Yaima had excellent English conversational skills and was very easy to understand without difficulties. She maintained flexibility, a great sense of humor, as well as integrity through the course of our tour. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour with Yaima for anyone with an adventurous spirit.

I’m still friends with people from the group. Our tour guide, Yaima, went above and beyond to make sure we were all having a good time and comfortable. Also, she knew everything about Cuban history and culture. Her easy going manner and terrific sense of humor really made the experience that much better. I left the trip with happy memories, new friends and hopes of returning to Cuba again!

From the time we arrived at the Havana airport, to the day we left, Yaima had everything carefully planned and she took us to placed we didn’t expect to see.
The accommodations were very good and staying with Cuban families was educational and very enjoyable.
Any request someone may have had, Yaima handled easily.
Not knowing what to expect on the tour, it exceeded our expectations and from zero to 10, it was a 10.
I highly recommend Yaima as a guide if you are travelling to Cuba.
When the COVID situation improves, my wife and AI plan to return
