To thoroughly enjoy the route from Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaoen, Fez, Midelt, Sahara, Dades Gorge and Marrakesh, you need to commit to a minimum of 10 days. The extra days allowed us to shop and explore Fez and Marrakech on a deeper level. Hamid was an incredible help from beginning to end. He was available anytime I had questions - and I had a lot of questions! He arranged incredible riads and hotels and was accommodating in every way. The Sahara desert experience should not be missed! It was unique and beautiful and something that will stay with me forever. Our driver Aziz was helpful when our luggage was delayed and spent quite a long time helping to find and deliver our bags. Morocco is an incredible and diverse country and should not be missed! The people of Morocco are lovely and helped to make our trip so memorable. If you are considering Morocco, be sure to book w Hamid and MDST.

I'd defenitively recommend this tour if you only have 9 days. Sometimes we wished to have stayed in places for another night, so if you can take 2 weeks off work, do it in 2 weeks :D

More detailed:
- though the tour hosts up to 8 people we were the only ones that booked it so basically had a private tour (there's pro's and con's to that, you can decide yourself what it is for you)
- The hotels were all posh and clean, the hotel staff very kind and helpful
- Mostafa was a fantastic driver, skilled and always had the best in mind for us. He gave us tips of what to do/see if we asked him to, and followed up on our experiences and well being. When we were not happy with our camel guide, he called the operator about 10 times until he got through to them so that hopefully the next people won't have the same bad experience.
- I felt safe throughout the tour
The only little trouble we had was at our arrival at the airport when:
- first the border control "needed" to know from us where we are staying in Casablanca and which we did not know as we were picked up from the airport (after a while of explaining and showing the itenary he let us out)
- second we took a wrong exit door and therefore struggled to find our pick up. Respond time was relatively slow, but we did arrive late on a Saturday and once we found our way around the building it was quite clear that we must have gotten the wrong exit dior as there were suddendly loads of people with signs from all sorts of tours
So tip for you:
1) ask where your first hotel is for border control and your own peace of mind upon arrival
2) walk up and down along the building if you can't seem to find the driver that should pick you up
I enjoyed learning about Moroccan history and culture.
