About me:I am a proud native Cuban who earned a degree in English and worked as a university professor teaching English. In 2018, I began my travel training courses to become a tour guide and have worked for Cuban Adventures since 2019. I love travelling, learning about history, and teaching visitors to Cuba about our history, culture, people, food, music, challenges, and accomplishments. I have a great knowledge of Cuba's history and its Afro-Cuban religions. I love dancing, singing, and drawing. My skills, interests, and passions have earned me very highly rated reviews from travellers who have joined my tours, being noted for my faultless reliability and tireless enthusiasm. In addition to her brilliant knowledge of everything related to Havana, she is an excellent speaker. She has excellent knowledge of the history of Cuba, as well as Russia and America, and answered in detail any questions of the tour participants. Her charm, energy, mind, outstanding leadership qualities conquered us and made us fall in love with Cuba and Cubans.

Yummet speaks excellent English and is s…I have been to Cuba three times, but having Yummet as my guide made this the best trip ever! I did the 15 day original tour so we explored the entire island. Yummet speaks excellent English and is so knowledgeable about Cuba. She is a proud Cuban and loves to share her passion about Cuba's history and culture with visitors. She taught us so very much about Afro-Cuban religions, the Revolution, and the triumphs and challenges Cuba faces today. She was so very flexible and took us to so many great restaurants and places to dance and shop. We had one difficult traveller in our group, and I was impressed by how well Yummet handled this challenge in a kind and thoughtful way. I highly recommend Yummet when you travel to Cuba, and also I love the tour style of Cuba Adventure Tours!

Yummet is passionate about Cuba and it shows in the way that she leads her group tours. She is a great example of the people of Cuba; very warm and friendly. I would highly recommend her.
