His local knowledge and contacts made sure everything went smoothly and we didnt have to worry about a thing, all we had to do was enjoy the experience and what an experience it was. Beautiful country and beautiful people who welcomed us everywhere. Thank you Willmar for making this holiday honestly the best holiday and it will be a happy and rich memory for me for ever.

We had an amazing experience with Cuban Adventures on our first trip to Cuba. This was amazing, personalized, and small. We felt well taken care of by our awesome tour guide, Will who was knowledge, …We had an amazing experience with Cuban Adventures on our first trip to Cuba. This was amazing, personalized, and small. We felt well taken care of by our awesome tour guide, Will who was knowledge, friendly, and answered all of our random question. He was a wonderful tour guide that felt like family by the end of the 8 days. We were traveling as a multi-family of 7, and had one additional tourist. It was a small and personal group. We had a spacious air-conditioned tour bus at our disposal to travel between sites. Each of our accommodations, were spectacular. They provided comfortable, local lodging, that included a delicious breakfast each day. We felt safe the whole time we were in Cuba. This was the first tour our family of four has been on, and it was excellent.
Cuban Adventures and our tour guide, Will exceeded our expectations. We fell in love with Cuba's beauty and rich history. We hope to be back again!

Ale was fantastic! It wasn`t until the end of the trip that I realized how much effort he put in, without any of us realizing, which made the trip that much more enjoyable. He was doing a lot of wor…Ale was fantastic! It wasn`t until the end of the trip that I realized how much effort he put in, without any of us realizing, which made the trip that much more enjoyable. He was doing a lot of work behind the scenes calling ahead to make sure every excursion and accommodation was ready for us before we arrived and course-correcting as needed.
Traveling with Ale (and Eddie) was like traveling with friends - they both had great energy throughout the day. They made me feel that they genuinely enjoyed taking us around and sharing their country with us -- instead of just a job where they had to chaperone a tour group. Ale was always full of positive energy, sharing stories about Cuban life or joking with the group, which kept us all smiling and engaged. He also has an impressive wealth of knowledge about the history of Cuba and current events and never hesitated to answer any of our questions (and we had a lot!). And there was absolutely no language barrier which was a pleasant surprise.
Ale also cared a lot that each of us got the most from our experience in Cuba and catered to each of us individually -- checking in on our comfort throughout the day, satisfaction with the information, meals, etc. This meant a lot to me personally as I was a solo traveler with two other couples in the group -- he really helped make sure I never felt like a 5th wheel. He stressed the importance of telling him in the moment if something wasn't ok, so he could quickly address it (e.g. if accommodations weren't good, we didn't like a meal, etc). I personally had food restrictions and Ale made sure every meal I had was prepared correctly.
I'd highly recommend Cuban Adventures to my friends in the future based on the experience Ale created for our group. If the rest of your tour guides are as great as him, I'm sure everyone who travels with you enjoys Cuba!

He showed us the best places and his suggestions were right on point. We were all so grateful and thankful for his guidance. From Havana to Viñales and back, it was a fantastic tour! I do recommend the tour to all. I pray that one day soon, I will be able to visit my friend, Willmar and his gorgeous island again.
