About me:Hello! My name is Daisy and I'm a kiwi currently doing my very best to curb my huge FOMO issues and see as much that this wonderful world has to offer as I possibly can. I caught the travel bug after uni and thought after visiting a few places in South East Asia and living in London that I might have scratched that itch...I couldn't have been more wrong! My list of places to see and things to do grows by the day. I decided in 2016 that I wanted more out of Europe. I wanted to know everything about its fascinating and lengthy history which just makes NZ look like an even smaller blip on the map. So, I decided guiding for Topdeck would be the answer! I absolutely love my job and it is the best feeling in the world when you see people's faces as they stare up at the Eiffel Tower or imagine what it would be like as a gladiator in the Colosseum, having dreamt of seeing these things in real life for so long. The people I have met along the way are incredible and I love being able to help them experience some of these amazing things our world has to offer - and of course, try all the food that goes with it!

Doing a tour like this means you will make friends for life that become your international extended family. I had the best Month or so of my life away with my group. We all got along so so so well right from the start and cried when we left at the end. I should add though we couldn’t have possibly gotten along so well with eachother so early if it wasn’t for the bright, bubbly, beautiful Daisy Wright leading us! Daisy has this super hero, uncanny ability to bring a smile to every face she greats. If you have half the kindness she has in her little finger, she will treat you like a long lost sibling. It is almost alien that one human can be so knowledgeable on all things Europe and the most organised professional there is, yet be the absolute life of the party and the funniest person you’re ever likely to meet. Daisy actually really helped me through I tough time I had early on too and for that I could never thank her enough.
Do yourself a favour. Get your butt to Europe on one of these trips. Or meet Daisy Wright. Or both. Either way, it’ll be the best experience of your life x

Daisy has this incredible ability to bring people together in a really enjoyable way. She is Super, super knowledgeable, and absolutely hilarious, I actually can’t imagine being led around Europe by anyone else ! Dais looks out for everyone and works hard to make sure every last passenger is getting the absolute most out of their trip ! That’s all you can really ask from a guide I believe !! I’ve been lucky to stay great mates with daisy and go on two of her Topdeck trips. The first was absolutely amazing and I thought there’s know way that could be topped ! Well the second trip was just as good if not better !! The energy she brought day in day out was abosoulety incredible and quite frankly I don’t know how she does it! It takes someone special to do what she does. As well as being just an awesome human being, she is FILLED with knowledge about everything and anything and makes her tour guide speeches interesting and fun. Bus trips are never short of a great time, as she makes great games, good music and much more! It is never boring.
Any tour with daisy can be assured that everyone will be safe, and feel comfortable but most importantly have the best time of their lives, cry of laughter everyday possible, enjoy every second and come home with a gut full of knowledge. If anyone’s going to get the travel bug.. it’s going to be with daisy!!! She makes everyday worth it in ever way. Any company would be getting an absolute blessing!

I saw some absolutely incredible places, met some awesome new friends and my guide was just an absolute legend who I am still great friends with today ! I learnt through this trip that as amazing as the places are, the people you meet and the memories you make with them are what really makes it ! I would highly recommend travelling in a controlled and fun group environment like topdeck offers especially if your travelling alone on your first trip !! Couldn’t speak more highly of my awesome, friendly, funny, down to earth tour guide Daisy and all she did too make our European adventure a blast ! I’ve saved my money and am this year travelling again on a topdeck tour this time through Eastern Europe ! I organised with my awesome new mate, my tour guide Daisy, to go on one of her trips again as she makes travelling such a blast ! Booking this trip was hard as I was very overwhelmed knowing how long I would be away. Within the first 2 hours of my trip I was welcomed by our tour guides with such great manners and amazing attitude. This was the best thing I could have ever done. I felt at home with everyone, and daisy was always making me feel hyped up and excited to experience our new destinations. As I said this was a big commitment and leap to travel for so long, after this trip I have developed a travel bug and I owe it all to daisy and her amazing team. I couldn’t think of anyone better or more caring towards her travellers then daisy. We all felt and were treated like her own family, and that’s what we all became.

i found her delivery of information about every place fantastic and unrivalled - she put so much effort into every itinerary, walking tour and info session on each city, i found myself always engaged by the fun and vibrant way she spoke and captured all our attention at every destination.
she helped every one of us out through issues that arose as they were her own problems, and went above and beyond at every opportunity.
i honestly wouldnt want to travel with any other guide.
