The medieval towns look particularly good with a dusting of snow - you'll get excellent photos in Brasov's Council Square and walking across Sibiu's Bridge of Lies. Many of our travelers tell us how the Gothic chambers of Bran Castle feel properly atmospheric in winter, especially during our private after-hours visits when you practically have the whole place to yourself. The early sunsets and crisp air really add to that mysterious castle mood.
