    Larnaca Arrival

    Larnaca & Lefkara Village

    Start your morning exploring Larnaca, including the 9th-century Church of Saint Lazarus.     Famagusta & Ghost Town

    See the abandoned resort of Varosha in Famagusta, untouched since 1974. Visit Othello Castle and the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, formerly a Gothic cathedral. Spend time at one of the area's beaches. "The juxtaposition of the abandoned high-rises next to pristine beaches is surreal—definitely a unique experience."

    Free Day in Larnaca

    Relax at Mackenzie Beach or explore more of Larnaca. You can visit the Salt Lake (where flamingos gather in winter) or the nearby Hala Sultan Tekke mosque. "The local bus system is easy to navigate, and taxis are reasonable for shorter trips."

  • Day 8

    Departure

    Head to Larnaca Airport for your flight home. Morning flights usually have less traffic, but plan to arrive 2.5 hours before departure during peak season.

  • Day 1

    Larnaca to Limassol

    Start with a one-hour private transfer from Larnaca Airport to Limassol. You'll get your first look at Cyprus's blue waters along the coastal route. Try to book a late afternoon arrival to skip the morning traffic between cities.

    Limassol & Paphos Region

    Head to Aphrodite's Rock early for the best morning photos. Bring water shoes since the beach is pebbly. Plan about 2-3 hours for Paphos Archaeological Park. Visit the Tombs of the Kings in late afternoon when it's cooler and less crowded. The site has little shade, so pack sunscreen and a hat. Check out Limassol's medieval castle and old town. A local tip: "The narrow streets around Limassol Castle are best explored between 4-7 PM when shops are open but tourist crowds have thinned. The castle's roof offers amazing sunset views over the harbor."

    
  • Day 4

    Troodos Mountains Wine Tour

    It takes about 1.5 hours to reach Omodos village from Limassol on mountain roads. Wear good walking shoes for the slippery cobblestone streets. Get to the Monastery of the Holy Cross when it opens at 9 AM, before tour groups arrive. The drive to Kyrenia takes another 2.5 hours.

    Kyrenia

    Visit Saint Hilarion Castle first thing. The uphill walk takes 30-45 minutes and gets hot later. Stop by Bellapais Monastery around sunset for great photos and coastal views. At night, the harbor area fills with lively restaurants and cafes.

    Famagusta & Nicosia

    Set aside 2 hours for the Salamis ruins. Take an umbrella for shade. Remember your passport when crossing between Greek and Turkish Nicosia. The Green Line checkpoint can take 15-30 minutes depending on lines.

    
  • Day 8

    Ayia Napa & Cape Greco

    The Cape Greco trails have great sea views but can get windy. Pack a light jacket. Get to the Blue Lagoon before 10 AM to avoid crowds and see the clearest water. One visitor shared: "The Love Bridge at sunset was magical, but arrive 30 minutes before sunset to get photos without other tourists."

    Departure from Larnaca
