Hopefully, this list will give you a better idea of what kind of accommodation you can expect while on tour. - When and where does the tour end?
The tour concludes on day 15, after a final breakfast at the hotel with your fellow travellers. We can assist in arranging post-tour accommodation if you wish to extend your adventure!
- When and where does the tour start?
Day 1 of the tour is an arrivals day, which means you can arrive in Cairo at any time. Your tour operator representative will be waiting to meet you at the airport and transport you to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the area and settling in before your welcome meeting at 6pm. This is your chance to meet your guides and get to know your fellow travellers!
- Do you arrange airport transfers?
This tour includes a complimentary airport transfer from Cairo Airport to the Cairo Hotel on the first day of the trip. We are also happy to arrange departure transfers for you, however this will be a separate charge. To arrange your arrival transfer please contact our customer support team at least 10 days before your arrival to inform them of your flight details (date of flight, flight number, arrival time and names).
- Can you assist with booking additional accommodation?
We would be happy to help with booking additional accommodation! If you book your pre-tour accommodation with us then your airport transfer and breakfasts will still be included.
- What is the age range?
The age range for this tour is 18 to 39 year olds. We cannot accept those younger than 18 on the tour, however older travellers are welcome!
- I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?
Many people on this tour are travelling alone, and sharing a room can be a great way to meet like minded travellers on your trip! If you are a solo traveller and you don't mind sharing you will be roomed with a fellow traveller of the same gender for no additional cost. A single supplement will be charged for travellers who wish to stay in a private room, however this is not always an option. Please contact our customer support team for more information.
- Are there any vaccines that you require us to have before hand?
The vaccinations to Egypt and Jordan should be checked with your GP in your hometown.
- How does the sleeping work on the boat?
The Felucca boat has no cabins, free style bedding will be arranged on the boat.
- Is travel insurance a requirement?
We highly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance. By having comprehensive coverage you do not need to worry about emergencies that can happen any time, any where, before or during your travels. Including the cost of your airfare, as well as your tour, ensures that you do not have to worry about any unforeseen situations such as having to rush home to a family member or having a tour changed or cancelled because of a natural disaster.
