We are really grateful to Realistic Asia for the great service they have provided! They have taken well care of us, even before traveling and upon our return. They were consistently in touch with us to ensure that everything was going well. We had one issue with one activity but independent of the Tour's will (celebration of 50 years independence which affected traffic) and they successfully did everything to make it work despite the circumstances! The tour was well organized, intense but wouldn't change a thing. The hotels were pretty good as well and well located. We highly recommend this tour!Show more

Being a foreign country, I signed up with Tourradar for the 14 Vietnam tour. It was a well organised and well worked out plan with all the support one can wish for. Absolutely nothing went wrong and the accommodation was first class. The organisers also left enough individual free time so one can explore on your own. All dates / programs and everything was kept on time. The composition of the trip was also good. Unfortunately, the expectations of the landscape were not fulfilled by far. Neither the mountains nor Halong or the Mekong are anything special. (!) All destinations are extremely touristy, mass processing at its best! The tip vultures are waiting on every corner, visitors are constantly hassled. When trekking (dirt-in), a group of local helpers suddenly joins in, constantly chattering at you. Everything is geared towards tips and sales. The trekking is a very slippery, steep mud battle. Most people (much younger than us) could barely manage this path. A trip to forget. The hotels and food were good with mostly a decent selection. Conclusion: If someone appreciates the above, then the traveler is in good hands. - HSHans· April 13th, 2025I booked the 'Best of Vietnam in 14 days' Tour from Western Australia for 28. March until 10. April. Both Tourradar as well as Realistic Asia were the excellent operators. Every aspect of the tour was communicated and according to the provided itinerary. I was positively surprised by the level of care and assistance encountered. Every airport or hotel pick-up/drop off was on time and made the holiday, a safe, easy and very enjoyable journey. In my case, the local tour operator/contact was Long Pham, a friendly person you could fully trust. He could be contacted by Whatsapp any time and always responded in due time in the most helpful and considerate way. The day trips in the selected locations were guided by English speaking local tour guides who provided detailed information/knowledge on the localities and culture. The 3 Star hotels were clean and suitable, some of the showers were maybe a little outdated. The breakfasts and lunches provided were always fabulous and plentiful. My trip started in Hanoi in the North and headed South, finishing in Saigon. Each day tour either by limousine or by boat were very well run with group sizes between 8 and a maximum of 15 new travellers for every tour. If you embark on every day trip on offer, however, there is barely enough time for individual sightseeing in each major city, and the tipping culture in the commercialised touristic places is something you have to get used to as well. Overall, you do see the best of Vietnam with all its incredible charms and diversity in a short period of time. - Linda· March 26th, 2025Customer service was great from beginning of tour to the end Hotels were on point 4 star. Very plentiful and delicious morning buffets Transfers were well organized. One comment I would make would be to give more time in each destination as we felt too rushed. We wanted to savour some of the places we arrived at. Maybe perhaps have less places to see and more time at each. Also some of the activities were a bit physically challenging. Please say up front in the marketing material something of that nature. I am 71 and some of the activities were a bit hard to do. The sapa trail walk, and some of the boat rides. Hard to get in and out of boats. Tge boats along the mekong were old and rickety. Everyone should be made to wear life jackets. I felt very unsafe on those boats. Tge people overall were so very nice and willing to help out everywhere.
