What people love about Yukon and Northwest Territories Tours in October
- Aurora Borealis Adventure from Vancouver
The guides and the experience were great!
- Best Value Aurora Viewing | Wildlife & Hot Springs
Overall the tour was great. The city tour in Whitehorse felt a bit rushed. I would have loved more options for activities like the dog sledding tour I purchased separately through Arctic Range Adventures. I really appreciated the Aurora Centre set up and the comfort and pickup and drop-off. I loved seeing the lights!
- Best Value Aurora Viewing | Basic
We all enjoyed our stay in Whitehorse although the hotel was very minimalist but it did not keep us from enjoying some excellent dinners in the restaurant. What would have made it better would have been a cozy bar with a fireplace since it was snowing outside. The guides were excellent, although one, who was Japanese had difficult English skills and so was sometimes difficult to understand. The Aurora "camp" was nice although since we sat from 11 pm to 2 pm. the types of chairs were quite uncomfortable until we pulled out the canvas chairs which were much better...3 hours on folding chairs is difficult. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we did not see the Aurora. Should have gone to Dawson Creek....heard they were visible there. We would book with them again. Thank you
