We had an exceptional time with Mohammed Kamal. He was so detailed and thorough with all the explanation and historical stories. The cruise was also wonderful. The staff were so polite and very attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet very much. The food every meal was fantastic. We also did an optional Abu Simbel tour, which was quite a drive from the cruise and the ride was a little rough personally, so I would advise careful consideration. Otherwise, we highly recommend this tour and Mohammed!! **Some extra notes: the cruise does not provide water nor free WiFi.

Our guide Medhat was very helpful and accommodating throughout the trip. He paid close attention to our needs and made sure everyone was comfortable, without being pushy. At the same time, he managed the schedule well and ensured we completed all the planned tours. Overall, a very professional and good experience.

We had a wonderful time, both aboard Blue Shadow I and while visiting about 10 truly astonishing sites between Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor. Mahmoud was a fantastic guide - right from the first moment we met him at Aswan airport, he made sure everyone was fully looked after and enjoying themselves. As an Egyptologist, he has a massive breadth of knowledge, and on top of this he also has a great sense of humour, constantly making us laugh. We added Abu Simbel and the Nubian village as extra activities - both of which were wonderful. All of the archaeological sites were mind-blowing, offering something new we hadn’t seen before. And aboard the cruise there were so many generous touches - the buffet meals were abundant and delicious, the waiters were all kind and friendly, and even the cleaners made a very memorable contribution by arranging our blankets and bed throws in adorable animal shapes. Thank you, Mahmoud! Thank you, Holiday in Egypt. On behalf of our whole group, we hope to see you again before long
