First of all, we had a wonderful trip to Bhutan. The World Tour crew were experienced professionals and took great care of us. Our guide was Tanzin who was not only good with the trails but very knowledgeable about the temples and monasteries that we visited and provided great commentary on Bhutan and its people. We not only got a great trek, but learned a lot about our host country. The camp accommodations were very comfortable and the food was fantastic. Bhutanese cuisine utilizes their local peppers and pepper sauces, and the camp food was cooked in Bhutanese style. I would also like to note that our trip was complicated because we had mechanical problems with 2 of our aircraft and came to the trek 2 days late. The World Tour people worked with us to ensure we maximized our time in Bhutan and we are very grateful for that. Bhutan is a wonderful country. It’s very clean and with the mountains reminds me of Switzerland (with the chalets traded out for Bhutanese architecture). The people are very friendly. Most spoke excellent English and everyone we met asked about our trip and genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. This tour was a fantastic blend of cultural activities, hiking in amazingly beautiful Bhutan, and a wonderfully coordinated 3-day trek. I would highly recommend this tour and tour operator for their attentiveness to detail, hard work to make their guests comfortable and have an amazing experience and really see the natural and cultural richness of the country. Challenging hikes we all accomplished, clean and welcoming hotels, flexibility in daily plans when required, excellent driver provided, and most wonderful guide Norbu Gyeltshen who is so knowledgeable and immensely qualified.

Itinerary and guides were excellent, and we loved the trek. In particular the teamwork on the trek was great. The main improvement would be pre tour communications as we were not clear on various things like whether we needed to arrive the day before and exactly what was laid on versus what we needed to bring. Thise guidelines need to be crystal clear.
