Arianna "Ascoli Piceno was a lovely small town with a ton of character. We felt the tour had a great balance of history, superb food and activities during the day. We found wonderful weather in September and had a chance to observe the pressing of the grapes first hand. Our room was very large and the breakfast to die for! Thank you! GIna

This trip was the celebration of my 50th birthday and what a week it was! On the last day we even got to visit an ancient amphitheater lost in the hills, it was very special as it was just our group. Looking to come back for my 60th for another tour! Thanks, Adger

Our trip was so well organized, we felt the use of time was great and also had some time on our own which was much appreciated. We were blessed with beautiful weather in October, it still felt like summer and ended up staying a few extra days as our guide was kind enough to get us bike rentals to explore the surrounding areas! We could not speak highly enough of our experience overall. The highlights for us were certainly our visit to the underground roman aqueduct and the excellent choice of food throughout our trip which was refined and yet traditional. Our guide was outstanding and available to us 24/7 during the trip! By far our best experience in Italy so far, away from the busy areas and immersed in a world of fine food and history we never knew existed! Cassie

Simply put, the Finest Food and WINE I have ever tasted in my life!. Every meal was a feast and worth the trip. Our guide was a history expert as well as a seasoned sommelier and food aficionado and made our cooking classes and cellar visits very engaging! Certainly the best value for the money out of all the trips we have taken to Europe in the past 15 years, we will be back soon! Alice and Adger

I want to thank my good friend Giovanni for having us come over on a special tour organized last moment for the 4 of us. We are 4 chefs and restaurant owners who worked with him in Canada and after many years in a kitchen we felt the need for some inspiration. Our tour had 2 advanced cooking courses which I found very well organized and focused on using products found locally. We concentrated on food and wine pairing, picking the wines in person during our visits at the producers made each taste exceptional. We learned about the leavening process of dough and new methods of developing pizza which was extremely fun and useful. In the middle of all the great food and courses we visited some beautiful towns that left us in awe. Walking and breathing history everyday for a week and trying some smaller family owned restaurants dedicated to slow food was incredible! Thank you again for the inspiration and memorable experience. We are waiting for you to come visit us in Montreal soon! Merci Beaucoup!! Jacques, Patrick, Marion and Noelle. Quebec City, Canada

I wanted to write a review of our Tour because after having returned home I realized that many amazing activities we took part in, were above and beyond what was described online. In fact, some of us were interested in knowing more about coffee and the next day we took a small detour to visit a local producer. I was amazed to visit a coffee roasting plant! The trip will be stuck in my mind forever together with the smell of fresh roasted coffee beans… Thank you GIovanni for taking such great care of us throughout our trip! Gabriel

I found that our Flavours of Renaissance offered us tremendous value. Our hotel was outstanding and beautifully restored. The breakfast was superb and everyday we were picked up upfront to visit the nearby medieval villages. I particularly enjoyed the idea of staying in the same location every night as our other trips to Europe felt hectic. We managed to visit many places and spend more time doing things and less time in a Bus!

Easy to use use website. All the options can be seen on one page. What I liked most, as a solo traveller, is that I did not have to request a quote. The latter meaning that my search and organisation has to stop for 24-48hours. With TourRadar the single supplement came up instantly allowing you to make decisions on the spot and save valuable time.
