    3.5 - Good

First, she was sick. Limited energy, and understandable. She should have given the trip to a different, healthy guide. Second, she was very partial to the men in the group. [At one time, after watching her behavior, I laughed and told one woman that she better watch out. Nok was flirting w/ Steve!] Nok "lost" me more than once. I was on a cane and would be left behind the group.. More than once she crossed streets and I was left on the curb and she didn't even realize that she had left me behind. Other tour group folks would have to come back to find me. I OFTEN couldn't hear what she was telling others. [I was on another tour and the tour guide had a speaker and we had earphones and I heard every word he said. Tourradar should invest in those!] I feel like I missed a lot of the information because she would tell one group something and the rest of us never heard the info. We stayed in one hotel where the "goodies" [cookies, sodas, etc.] were free. I didn't know. Found out when we were on the bus the next day. She left us alone in her hometown to visit her family. Fine to do so, but what if there had been an emergency? I didn't have a way to contact her. On the Railroad tour she didn't join us. I reached the end of the trail and there was a sign saying it was closed, but others were still going down that trail. I wasn't sure what to do and she wasn't with us to ask. I expect a tour guide to GUIDE, not sit at the top and send us on alone. She did give us a dvd [when I tried to view it, I got the message: disc error] and 3 photos. I'm hoping her lack of concern for her tour group was because she was ill, but regardless, I was disappointed in her performance as a GUIDE. BTW, several of us had to take a tuk-tuk in lieu of the bicycle tour. The bike they gave me had the steering wheel at an angle to the front wheel and did not fit me properly. My knees hit the steering wheel when I tried to ride it. Because it was non-functional, I rode with another person in a tuk-tuk. It cost $27 American. I think that amount should be reimbursed by tourradar. It wasn't my fault that the bicycle was nonfunctionable. I received no discount for the price of using a bike. That I think is tourradar's responsibility. Please send me another "review" page for Cambodia. The guide's review will be much better than Nok's. review.
