The trip was great and Sanjar, our guide, really made it the best! He was so knowledgable, thoughtful, and fun - we really got to see and learn about Uzbekistan through him.

This tour is a brilliant way of seeing all the main beautiful places in Uzbekistan along with a fun night in a yurt camp. Sanjar, our guide was absolutely fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, patient and fun. We highly recommend him. The hotels were... Show more

Very good tour as far as the sites we saw. Excellent driver. Hotels were average, one hotel was inconveniently located (Samarkand). Tour guide was knowledgeable at the sites we saw BUT had zero customer service skills which made him one of the worst... Show more

Lovely well organised trip. Clear thought was put into the itinerary and route as each city built on the other. Hard to pick highlights as the whole trip was a pleasure but the Yurt Camp and Samarkand are definite favourites. The Uzbek people were very... Show more

    Frequently asked questions

      • When is the Best time to Visit Uzbekistan?

Thank you for your enquiry. The best time to travel to Uzbekistan is between April and May and then later in the year between September and October.

      • Do you accept people over 60 years old for your tours, I am healthy and fit, still working full time.

Hi there, yes of course, our tours can be quite fast paced but as long as you are fit and healthy, age isn't a problem. We have many customers over 60. Hope this helps &thanks for getting in touch.

      • How safe is Uzbekistan to travel through? I am curious as our government advises not to travel there, but I think there would be no tours there if it were that unsafe.

UK government guidelines states that it is fine to travel to most areas of Uzbekistan trouble free. When arranging tours we ensure that we follow our government's advice. UK tour companies offer organised tours to Uzbekistan and safety of our customers would be paramount.

You might want to check with your insurance company whether you would be covered if your local government advice is not to travel, as sometimes this can cause issues.
