Nepal November 2017. I had always wanted to go to Nepal and this trip was perfect for me. The earthquake of 2015 was devastating and the country is still rebuilding. This is one reason why I wanted to go. The country desperately needs the money brought in with tourism. Kathmandu is an attack on the senses. It is dusty and insanely busy. Navigating the traffic on the narrow streets is a skill to be learned! It's all a bit mad for a westerner, but if you love to travel and experience different people and their culture, this trip is a must. The tour itself was well organised and we were looked after every step of the way. The hotels were great (some beds were rather firm, but that's the way it is over there!) The local guides were all very good. They were fountains of information. Take the time to listen and have your world opened. I think I left my heart in Nepal. The people and the country have a special place in my heart. I will be back to do that trekking holiday one day soon.

This was a brilliant tour starting in Katmandeu with visits to the many historical building and temples there and in the surrounding area before travelling to Chitwin where we saw wildlife including a rhinocerous, alligators and wild deer plus a wealth of bird life. We then departed to go to Pokura but experienced the earthquake on the way, which seriously affected the rest of the program but throughout that difficult time the guide put the safety of his fellow travellers first although he was obviously worried about the safety of his family. We eventually flew out on the original flight booking and the warmth of the people, the quality of the accommodation and the wonderful scenery are memories that will stay with me forever.

is trip not because of earthquake but down to the fact that customer care shown at all times (pre and post earthquake). Having Surya as our tour leader was amazing. He was so professional especially during times of chaos that he made the trip very special for everyone. The tour was nicely put together and I definitely felt I was on holiday and not on some kind of whistle stop tour. Like all places, if you go there with an open mind you will experience more than what you pay for.

Booking was really easy! The options were displayed clearly and I was able to filter. I especially liked that they recommended a travel insurer because I've never had to get travel insurance. No hassle experience and now I'm ready for my tour!
