- Angel· May 8th, 2025I took a Wingbuddy tour through Spain in April 2025, which I had booked over eight months in advance. Leading up to the trip, I exchanged several emails with Wingbuddy representatives to clarify what was included in the package. I was assured that the tour would cover hotels, transportation, some meals, and, most importantly, tickets to major attractions. The 11-day itinerary covered Madrid, Córdoba, Seville, Granada, Valencia, Barcelona, Zaragoza, and back to Madrid, with flights included. Communication before the trip was prompt and helpful, which gave me confidence in my booking. Unfortunately, things started to unravel upon arrival. After landing in Madrid, there was no driver waiting for us, despite prior arrangements. I had to call the emergency contact number, and we ended up waiting over an hour after a long intercontinental flight. The tour began the following day, and we were placed in a mixed group of English- and French-speaking travelers. The tour guide did his best, but he lacked the language skills to communicate effectively in both languages, resulting in incomplete and unclear information throughout the trip. The hotels were another major disappointment. All had centralized air systems that carried a strong smell of cigarette smoke—an issue for me due to a smoke allergy. While guided walking tours were provided in most cities, admission tickets to key attractions were not. For example, we didn’t receive entry to the Seville Cathedral, Sagrada Familia, or Park Güell, just to name a few. To make matters worse, we were transported in a bus that was clearly unsafe, with windows held together by duct tape. Overall, this experience fell far short of expectations, and I cannot recommend Wingbuddy to anyone based on this trip.Show moreTrip date: April 2025
- ADEBRA CHONG· November 7th, 2024We were a little disappointed in Granada when we didn't get a tour of the nicer part of Alahambra. I believe there were others who were very upset. Perhaps a better disclaimer would help to alleviate the disappointment.Show moreTrip date: October 2024Review collected by Wingbuddy

- APAOLA MIRANDA· July 1st, 2022I was very happy with the tour package. Tour guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. The only thing I didn’t like is that I was not informed of a change of time for one of the city tours.Show moreTrip date: June 2022Review collected by Wingbuddy
- SScot· May 27th, 2023WINGBUDDY IS HORRIBLE. The worst travel experience of my life. This nightmare started 2 months prior to the trip when we booked a tour of Spain, based partially on the promise on the Wingbuddy website stating we could pick our seats on the plane and of course pay an extra $700 a person for premium economy seats. We went round and round and round with Wingbuddy Finnair and Iberian Airlines for months. Apparently this is a codeshare flight (whatever that means). Appears to mean no one actually works for any of the above. They could not verify seating to ease my disability. Each pointed at the other for service problems. WE PAID WINGBUDDY FOR THIS TOUR, SO THEY ARE TO BLAME, for the most part. Ultimately to make a lonnnng story short. We got seats assigned in the last 24 hours. I could not get a seat helping my disability or next to my wife. The flight crews were adequate to good. Hotels were good for the most part so I won’t dwell on that. However, the two dinners at Exes Sevilla Macarena were pitiful. They ran out of food after not allowing anybody in the eating area until 8:30pm. After waiting, the food ran out and what was still there was cold and SUBPAR. Amazingly, the checking in to the hotels was only slightly worse than normal, considering 71 people were dragging their luggage from the bus, to check in, and to the room. Otherwise the 6 hotels in 10 nights were fine. Thennnn, the bus, OMG, THE BUS. We were told that the tour accommodates 20 people. I did not count but was told we had 71 people. The air-conditioning worked in the front 1/3 of the bus. People in the back were miserable and cramped with noooo legroom. In the front, they were just cramped. Need to use the restroom, sorry, we will stop in two hours. Disability? Sorry, you have bigger problems now. It was so bad that several people left the tour. Others just chose to forego the last 8 hour bus day and meet back with the tour after paying for their own train ride. Kudos to OUIGO trains. Nice. I must mention the guide. Nice enough guy, but poor guy was overwhelmed. The part Spanish/ part English tour could not be heard and somehow the Spanish version was twice as many words. What did we miss??? Like you might want to eat something we are going to be walking for a while…………Or, let’s get some information before the bus start unloading. Or, the walking tour ends here and they point the general direction for your 5 KM walk to the hotel. This could go on and on and on. To summarize, nevvvver use Wingbuddy and think hard about using Finnair or Iberian AirlinesShow moreWingbuddy commented on this reviewHello Scot, We see you have shared this review on more than one platform.
