Looking for 7-8 days travel in Italy to cover Rome, Venice

For Venice and Rome, we suggest our Italian Dream package. You will visit Venice, Florence and Rome. We do not offer a package to Portofino, but you can explore this region independently after the tour.

What does at your leisure mean? Is the entire trip guided? Also, if any problems arise such as hotel accommodations or any reason why we wouldn't be able to go to something who do we reach and contact to fix those issues for us?

This is an organized package which means that you will be exploring with a tour leader within a group for the most part however, you still do have some time at leisure where you can have some time on your own to explore as well. Once booked, we will be sending you a document with emergency numbers incase you do run into an emergency or have questions for clarifications that you can call to get direct assistance.

What airport do we need to fly into?

To answer your question, when booking your flights, you will have to arrive in Rome (FCO) on July 18th.

What are the measurements of the seats. I am 6 foot 4 inches tall and very concerned about leg room. Looking to travel in May 2026. Can we change dates later.

To answer your question, the seating for the buses are standard. They do have seat which recline a little further back.

What is the walking requirements and level of difficulty on this tour?

This package is rated 2 out of 5 in regards to physical activity. If you are able to walk a few kms a day with breaks in between you will most definitely be fine.

These packages do not include flights. You would have to depart Canada on May 1st to arrive in Rome on May 2nd and return from Rome on May 12th.

Our tour director, Stephano, was excellent. He was full of information. Describing the areas that we were driving through and the cities that we saw. The guides we had at the Vatican, Pompeii, and others were all extremely knowledgable. Our guide for Vatican Museum got us into St. Peters Square where we were able to be by the barricade when the Pope came through. The food was all excellent. The hotels started out with beds that felt like sleeping on a sheet of plywood but definitely got better. All in All it was a pretty enjoyable trip that i would definitely recommend.Show more

We had the best time and thanks to our directors we knew what to expect, things to do and they were so friendly and helpful!! The tour company itself could have had much better communication with us. We didn’t know anything or have any information until we got it from the tour directors. Their communication has been rare and still trying to get information from them 2 weeks after our tour has been slow. But overall a great experience!! Thank you so much to Clara, EnRico and our bus driver Gianni- was the best!!Show more

The tour was very organized and fast paced. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and were awesome! Our tour guide for the Colliseum and the Vatican City were excellent!! Our direct tour guide was o.k., but not very considerate of a few older people on our tour who could not keep up with his fast pace which was unfortunate. Our driver and transportation was excellent and I would like to give a shout out to Giovanni, who was our tour guide for the Palantine Hill and Collisseum in Rome, he went above and beyond and was extremely knowledgeable and the best tour guide we had by far!! I didn't like how we were nickeled and dimed every time we turned around for things that should have been included in our tour instead of extra outings for the price we paid. And a few of the included meals were less than desirable and should have stated snacks provided instead of a lunch! Also a few of the hotels were less than desirable and only 2 stars at best. We had to request different rooms at 3 of the hotels because they were unacceptable. Overall, the tour was very organized and fast paced and we seen a lot of Italy in 12 days. The end of the tour was definitely the best part, the hotel in Sorrento was superb and Capri Island was breathtaking and our guide was fantastic! Definitely the highlight of our trip!!!Show more

The tour encompasses a lot and gives you the opportunity to see many different cities. Because of the many places, you get only a brief time at each location. It is fast paced and requires a lot of walking. We liked it because we wanted to see as much of Italy as we could in the time we had. The guides were helpful and friendly, always polite to everyone. Buses ran on a very timely schedule and were comfortable. Accommodations were comfortable. Walking was challenging for some, uphill and downhill, cobblestone and stone walkways.Show more

  Seat pitch (from backrest to backrest): 71 cm. Seats with tray tables (from backrest to tray table): 81 cm. Seat height from floor to seat: 45 cm. Backrest height: 71 cm. Additionally, there is a centrally located seat that has no seat directly in front of it which offers significantly more legroom.
