    4.5 - Excellent

I have travelled extensively through Asia: Japan, China, South Korea, Cambodia and Vietnam so have a reasonable perspective on the continent. The itinerary was just what I was looking for, an organised trip through Myanmar by road, rail, ebike and boat. I wasn't disappointed. We did everything identified in the itinerary and filled the spare time with alternatives suggested by the tour guide, the majority at economic prices. Hotels were all fine except Yangon. Food was a revelation far better than expected. The guide Kyaw Thu was superb. In summary it was just as described in print. I would definitely book with Tucan again.

Hi Stephen, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent tour of Myanmar. We are so pleased you had such a good time. The country is absolutely stunning! One of the most important factors when choosing hotels for our groups is the hotel's location. There are very few hotels in the heart of Yangon and you can't get a better location from the hotel we use. Two blocks from the river and in the heart of the old city, on your doorstep is the crumbling colonial buildings that give the old town its charm. The hotel is of a slightly poorer quality than others you stay in in Myanmar but we feel the location makes up for this.
