The tour was great. The south coast is beautiful. We were not able to go ice caving because the warm winter and rain before we arrived made the ice caves unstable but we were able to glacier hike instead. The solar activity during our tour was low so we were not able to see the Northern lights. Our guide, Hilmar, was very nice and helpful. He was very informative and patient and had great stories to tell. The van was clean and Hilmar had a great playlist for our trip. I would recommend this tour.

We had an amazing two days. We travelled as a family of four. Two adults and two teenagers. Our tour guide, Laurent was the best guide we have ever had. He was well informed and such a lovely person. His ability to answer all our queries and teach us about the geology of Iceland was awesome. The tour was fantastic. Laurent was always able to stop at many places to allow us to take photo opportunities and or toilet stops. We thought that the trek over the glacier was a highlight however the ice cave was smaller than expected and nothing like the pictures advertised. Still impressive however less impressive than advertised. The ice lagoon was our favourite, particularly because Laurent was able to teach us about it. Highly recommend this tour.

Dear Melissa, We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your tour with Laurent. He is indeed a very valued guide for our company and very knowledgeable. The ice caves are an ever-changing phenomena and the choice of ice cave is based on conditions each time. We have a coupe of ice caves that can be chosen for this tour.

We have tried a total of 3 different tour companies, and Artic Adventures is the best. We really enjoyed ourselves. The group of 16 ppl really bonded well and we had lots of fun. Our guide is also very helpful, knowledgeable and funny. Beyond his duties, he helped us track the northern light and brought never rushed us at all attractions. I would certainly recommend Artic Adventures =)

What are people saying about TourRadar?

    • Chris10th October 2017
Tour Radar offered many choices all at one easy to use site. I found a trip that met my specific needs for both travel time to tandem a cruise already booked and with the itinerary I was looking for. The tour company was unknown to me so I called TourRadar and spoke with a rep about the tour company, specifically reputation, what was included and what to expect. My questions were addressed, I felt comfortable with the info given and booked the tour ! Thank you
