Questions & Answers

Here we have collected and answered the most frequently asked questions about this tour.

  • April 23, 2015

    What is the kitty payment?

Dragoman's Kitty for Cartagena<- ->La Paz (from Cartagena to La Paz) is a group fund for this tour. The group fund pays for camping, hotels, food while camping, activities the group does as a whole (based on the itinerary mentioned above and in the brochure).

The Kitty allows the group to be flexible as the hotels and campsites are not pre booked and booked by the crew while travelling which makes the whole itinerary more adabtable than the traditional tours. Sometimes you can stay an extra night at one location due to a special activity happening at the location, based on the groups wishes. All of these costs are paid at cost price and Dragoman makes no money out of it. Therefore, if money is left over in the Kitty after the tour, it will be paid back to the group members.

What are people saying about TourRadar?

  • Marie1st February 2018
TourRadar is fantastic as several major companies are on one web site. Plus I can streamline my selection to a day, month and destination, This is now my quick go to for an overview of possible trips. Rebate as always welcomed as I need to save a much as I can for my next trip. Also love that conversations I've had with the agents are recorded and I can see the transcripts. Very well done. Yes I would definetely recommend TourRadar.
