Absolutely amazing trip! I've been lucky enough to visit quite a few countries in my life. And I always like to experience the entire country as much as I can and really emerge myself in the culture. This trip really did embrace all of that. Everything was timed out pretty perfectly to be able to do so many destinations. There was a good balance between relaxation and adventure. The activities were packed with adrenaline and the drives to and from each place were spectacular. The landscapes in South Africa are ever changing and breathtaking. Experiencing this country by van is really the way to go. It's definitely what makes this tour stand out from others. Seeing the wildlife on the sides of the road is absolutely crazy! Our guides, Landon and Bertus, were also wonderful. Always up for a good time and pushing us to explore our own fun as well. After all, "it's your trip!". From the moment I got back to Canada I was gushing about the country and the tour. I'm hoping to recommend people your way so they can experience such a great trip as well. I haven't been on a tour in a while and I forgot how amazing it is to explore a country with a group of people. By the end of 20/40 days you kind of become a little family. It's a great way to meet a group of cool, like minded people. Anyways, great time, good vibes, beautiful landscapes and animals, lovely people and an unreal country! This tour was awesome!

Amazing country and amazing human beings on this trip! I only wish it was longer. A small group so you actually get to know everyone and have an amazing little family as you check out one of the most beautiful countries in the world (South Africa).

This trip has absolutely changed my life. Because South Africa is a relatively unknown backpacker destination (relative to SE Asia, for example), it was a little bit daunting to set out with a bunch of people I didn't know into a place so far away from home with a less than stellar stigma against it, but I am so glad that I trusted my gut and took the plunge. Bertus knows the country like the back of his hand, and he will bend over backwards make sure that you have the time of your life, all while getting the 'local experience' that you could never get without him. Simply incredible.

This is honestly the most amazing Road trip I have ever been on! The country has such a diverse landscape and being able to road trip it has to be the best way to experience it. Let alone the countless activities that are available. You can have the most scenic chill experience you want or it can be the most adrenaline filled trip you've ever experienced! There is no way you can leave without telling yourself you must come back to this gorgeous country! Such a very unique trip! 10/10!!!

My 20 days in South Africa was too amazing to put into words. Every experience was unbelievably amazing. Our local tour leader Bertus was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the trip. The road trip was set up in a way where we were able to relax at every location but see so much along the way, frequently stopping at some awesome highlighted areas! Each location we visited was so unique in its own way, and every accommodation was very enjoyable. I was so impressed by the hospitality and friendliness we received everywhere we went! This trip included lots of surprise activities which was an awesome addition. Everything about South Africa was amazing, the food, atmosphere, the people. I can't express how amazing it was. My only regret was doing the 20 day trip and not the 40 days!!!

Best trip I've ever been on! Food was delicious and cheap, accommodations were exciting and comfortable, and transportation - riding around in our van Gladys was one of the highlights, and our route was planned nicely never to waste much time en route! I never once felt unsafe. I crossed so many items off of my bucket list it was incredible. Guides made sure we saw everything we wanted, got everywhere safely and made sure we never ever stopped laughing. Don't have a bad thing to say

I signed up for the June 20 day - Cruising the Cape trip with a friend. It ended up being fantastic because we were able to customize our trip and make last minute changes. The trip was jammed packed with activities - skydiving, abseiling, bungee jumping, shark cage diving, safari, hiking, township tours, surfing and so much more! The food was amazing and going out to eat/drink is super cheap! The only downfall was the weather we had - June is their winter. We were warned of this but I would recommend bringing warm clothing for the evenings (backpacker accommodations do not have heat and the nights can get quite chilly) The accommodations we stayed in were clean, safe and a lot of fun. You get to try "glamping" at Rocky Road which was my favourite spot to stay. This trip was an experience of a lifetime. Worth every penny!
