Rebecca "My experience to South Africa 2016 with free and easy was amazing. I would give it a solid 9/10. If you're going in the Month of May/June I suggest you pack more warm clothes than shorts and tanks because They don't stress it enough but it's not warm outside in the morning and after 4pm, I wasn't prepared enough and froze a little. Most accommodations are very nice, keep in mind you are going to A..."

Just finished my first major trip, and I am so happy that I choose Free and Easy South Africa to do it with! At first I was nervous to do a solo trip half way across the world, but I do not regret it for any second! The trip leaders (Bertus, Brad, and Riaan) were very knowledgeable, friendly and made it feel like a family vacation. They went out of their way to make sure you had a trip of a lifetime, and pushed you when they knew you could do something but were a little scarred. I made so many new friendships, and got to experience so many new things that I am forever grateful. I just want to say thank you to everyone on the free and easy South African trip, you made my trip the best it could be and I couldn’t say thank you more! PS. If you were like me and worried about going on a trip by yourself, don’t be because it was the best decision of my life. Also, do it with free and easy, you won’t regret it!!

Absolutely amazing trip! I've been lucky enough to visit quite a few countries in my life. And I always like to experience the entire country as much as I can and really emerge myself in the culture. This trip really did embrace all of that. Everything was timed out pretty perfectly to be able to do so many destinations. There was a good balance between relaxation and adventure. The activities were packed with adrenaline and the drives to and from each place were spectacular. The landscapes in South Africa are ever changing and breathtaking. Experiencing this country by van is really the way to go. It's definitely what makes this tour stand out from others. Seeing the wildlife on the sides of the road is absolutely crazy! Our guides, Landon and Bertus, were also wonderful. Always up for a good time and pushing us to explore our own fun as well. After all, "it's your trip!". From the moment I got back to Canada I was gushing about the country and the tour. I'm hoping to recommend people your way so they can experience such a great trip as well. I haven't been on a tour in a while and I forgot how amazing it is to explore a country with a group of people. By the end of 20/40 days you kind of become a little family. It's a great way to meet a group of cool, like minded people. Anyways, great time, good vibes, beautiful landscapes and animals, lovely people and an unreal country! This tour was awesome!

Its so hard to describe a trip that has made such an impact on your life in so many different ways. I can ramble on on how amazing this trip was and how beautiful this country is and how every day was a new adventure, the truth is and any traveller can agree, that the only way is to actually be there and live the experience. Pictures and words can only describe half of what a traveller experiences. This trip has changed my life forever. The country is fantastic, the experience was indescribable, the guides were amazing, and the tour was great! Lets start with the guides, having 2 guides that were locals really was amazing, because not only did they bring us to the tourist areas but they really knew how to give us the best local experience ever. They showed us places that we wouldn't have been able to see if we were travelling alone. Bertus & Brad were two amazing, caring, genuine humans who made this experience unforgettable. Shayla was great, she was organized and made sure we were all ok and on time. It was great to have her with us as a fellow Canadian and someone who has already gone through this experience. The accommodations were good, if i had to choose one place to change that would be Jungle Monkey in Port St Johns. The accommodation there wasn't the greatest. Yes we are in a third world country but i believe that the beds should be clean and it was dirty. However, i would definitely keep all the other accommodations on the tour. Sodwana was just magical! Especially after having camped out in Swaziland, Sodwana accommodations were amazing. Overall, the food was great everywhere we stayed. I would definitely keep Swaziland BushFire Festival on the tour, those 3 days were the best! latitude 31, was fantastic and Bertus was such a treat! He really put his heart and soul into this tour. Overall, I can ramble on for 20 pages, but i won't do that… whoever is reading this review i hope you've done this trip and if you haven't i would highly recommend you get on that ASAP! No other way to review a trip than to hop on and do it yourself! Thank you FNEZ for the best experience a Canadian can ask for! - Aly Pazz

If you're going in the Month of May/June I suggest you pack more warm clothes than shorts and tanks because They don't stress it enough but it's not warm outside in the morning and after 4pm, I wasn't prepared enough and froze a little. Most accommodations are very nice, keep in mind you are going to Africa, not the a best western in Europe. I was very pleased with the accommodations except for one which will be under review I believe for further trips. The guides were very helpful and accommodating, they made me feel comfortable and safe. The schedule was as explained on the site, I wish there would have been a bit more time for activities, maybe we could have stayed in places for an extra night to surf or horseback ride, a lot of time was spent traveling on the road for full days, so maybe time could have been capitalized in each place, leaving early and on time in the mornings. I wouldn't change much on this trip, I have left Africa with such fond memories and amazing people that I have met. I would do it all over in a heart beat and I appreciate the effort made to organize this incredible trip, we didn't have to think at all as tourists, everything was planned for us, it was a fabulous experience.
