Stick to your knitting. From reviews it looks like you do South America well so stay well away from Asia until you can up your game. I had reservations from the beginning because after having already paid Tucan you would not respond to my emails for information I required in order to obtain a visa for Vietnam. The hotels were mixed, Ho An was great, some average but what I expected from a budget holiday. Others were appalling, airless, damp cupboards. Kratie in Cambodia was so disgusting I wouldn't ask a dog to sleep in it. A Bucket of vomit in the bathroom, bed linen that had not been changed (the black outline of an unshowered person on the sheets) and I had to move about the room wearing a head torch because the lighting was so poor. Also the air conditioning did not work and I was eaten alive with insects during the night. The staff were so inefficient they actually tried to replace the remote controls with brands which were not compatible with the machine itself. They didn't have a clue on how to operate a flea ridden doss house let alone a hotel. The dining room was entered via the "service" area and I use that term loosely. The "swimming pool" was unusable, the location was on the outskirts of the town and I was woken at 4.30am with loud Cambodian rock music. We travelled 8 hours on a bus to "enjoy" this experience and once we arrived there was no notable attractions to see. I don't know why this hell hole was even on the itinerary in the first place, I can only assume a desk bound person on the other side of the world thought it would be a good idea without ever having experienced it. The best guides were the locals employed at Halong Bay and the Mekong Delta. Our Vietnam guide had only done the trip once before and while he tried his best, and the transport arrangements went smoothly we did not get any background to Vietnam as he didn't have any to give. Having discussed this trip with friends who have visited the same area I now realise to my regret that I chose the wrong tour company as the likes of Intrepid included much more sightseeing. I will put it down to experience as I would not now cross the road with Tucan. Ibet this review does not appear on your website. I

Hi Dianne We have been running tours in Asia for 9 years and we take all feedback, both positive and otherwise very seriously. For this reason we have been able to maintain high standards that has led to us being able to establish an overall rating on Tour Radar reviews of 4.1 out of 5 that is considered an excellent level to reach. With this in mind we have looked into your comments regarding the hotel in Kratie. We have been using this hotel for approximately 2 years and have not had a complaint about this hotel from our past clients. Having said this we understand that hotels can change/decline for various reasons. We have asked our Cambodian supplier to visit the hotel to make a full inspection and to send us a full report as soon as possible. We also had another group pass through Kratie only and have contacted our tour leader to also make a full report on the hotel. Once these reports arrive we will make a decision as to whether we will continue to use this hotel in the future; if the hotel is found not to be of the standard then a new hotel will be sourced. The swimming pool at this hotel is not mentioned on our published itinerary as it is currently being built and not completed yet. In regard to the location of the hotel it is situated on the bank of the Mekong Delta that is a popular location famed for the chance to see the Irrawaddy Dolphins. Another attraction of the location is that it is usually thought of by our clients as a welcome contrast to the bustling city life of Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City where the tour stops prior to Kratie. We are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations and wish you all the best in your future adventures Rosanna @ Tucan Travel

I haven't travelled yet but from what I've seen so far I'm extremely happy I have chosen to travel with TourRadar. From my very first enquiry I was impressed. I had been researching a number of companies to find the right tour for us but all the others took their time in replying and I had to ask a number of times for information. The team at TourRadar were always prompt with answering me and very forthcoming with information. The website was easy to use and I was very impressed that it had so much information. What information I couldn't find on the website was quickly given to me once I asked. Would I refer TourRadar to my friends.....I already have! Now I can't wait to travel
