  It was a good trip. Well organized. The Hotels in Prague and Innsbruck were fantastic. The hotel in Zurich was not so good. All the guides were knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. I would use this tour company again. From the moment we landed our transfer was waiting on use and was very helpful going as far as going into the hotel and making sure we didn't have any issues checking in. Super nice guy. We booked this not knowing what to expect having never done a organized tour but WOW it was a good experience overall and would do it againShow more

  More like a hop on hop off bus depending where you get on and get off - not the usual A to B tour with the same tour...
  More like a hop on hop off bus depending where you get on and get off - not the usual A to B tour with the same tour guide and travellers as we thought. We had a 5-6 day trip and had 3 different coaches, 3 different tour guides and constant changes to who you are travelling with. There was no ‘group meeting’ when we arrived as we were the only ones joining the ‘group’. Very disorganised on the first day as no one explained what was happening and how it worked. Spanish is the predominant language spoken but they did eventually divide off the English speakers. Having said that all three tour guides during the 5 days were knowledgeable and directions each day were clear, accommodation and daily breakfasts were great. We would have preferred to be travelling with the same group for the duration so you could get to know people but not the case which wasn’t clear at time of booking. Lastly, when the time came to pay the balance of the tour the invoice was much more and not clear, we had to contact the Brisbane office to clear this up as we only prepared to pay brochure price so watch that.Show more

Due to the global nature of Europamundo, groups may be bilingual according to the number of passengers, and the service may be provided in bilingual (usually in English and Spanish), either accompanied by two tour leaders, one for each language, or a single tour leader explaining in both languages. Please note that any change of guide or coach is solely based on operational reasons, offering flexibility to our clients.   The excursions were a lot of fun however the tour guide for the church tour was so poorly equipped. She had lots of information, but how she tried to keep the group together, was using a piece of newspaper instead of a flag, or some kind of marker, so she was easily lost in the crowd. Someone made a suggestion that she needed to get a flag, or some thing that is more easily noticed and her comment was “oh well this is good enough”. Our tour guide for the Prague tour her English was moderate and sometimes hard to understand and I feel that the tour overall was very poorly organized,. Our tour guide from Prague to Switzerland his English was so poor, we could barely understand him, and as a result, we were left in Lucerne and had to find our own way back to the hotel. The hotel in Prague was terrible, the hotels at the other locations were nice. Overall, I would give this rating below average only because the tour guides were just unorganized, The excursions were very good and a lot of fun…There was not enough time left in the day to eat. We were either running latte for the excursions and it was late in the day before we can had time to eat dinner ..????Show more

  Whilst I enjoyed all the countries visited I think it needs to be made clear on the website that you won't be in one group for the whole tour and people will keep joining and leaving as all the Europe tours overlap randomly. This seems very confusing for the guides which is why they can seem stressed/impatient at times. Loved our tour guide John who was with us from Prague to innsbruck. Didn't like that a lot of the hotels were nowhere near the city centre which meant when you had 'free time' you had to find your own way to the city at a cost to yourself. Not many of the hotels had kettles in the room either which is a massive negative for me. The lunch at top of innsbruck was very basic and poor - only given water to drink and no dessert. Salad was a few leaves and strange pasta with applesauce as main? Tour guides need to give you their contact number in case you get lost/running late for meeting time rather than threatening to leave you in another city/country. Switzerland itinerary could be tweaked as doesn't make sense to stay in Zurich (30mins out of city) when it isn't even part of the tour. Either include in tour or stay in lucerne and then could fit more in and do lucerne 1 day then perhaps grindlewald/interlaken/jungfrau another day. Some of the tour order was strangely organised. As a solo traveller it was difficult to form any kind of friendship/companions as groups kept changing. Also, tour is listed as 'English speaking tour' Not multi lingual tour yet most of it was done in Spanish predominantly with a mediocre bit of English to give us the main facts. If it is going to be a multi lingual tour this needs to be advertised as such as this wastes time on tour, can be tiring and causes confusion/delays. Overall I would not use Europamundo again as although I like some of the itinerarys I do not like the set up. I prefer to travel in 1 group pref a max of 20/25 of similar age group.Show more

  My entire family removed from tour over positive COVID test left stranded waiting for taxi middle of street to take us to hotel. I had to pay all expenses out of my pocket without any reimbursement, no refund of lost tour costs no follow up to see if family ok. The worst organized tour ever taken. This is unacceptable, tour operator was not prepared for these situations that may happen. Very disappointed ☹️Show more
