- Day 1
Helsinki
You'll arrive in Helsinki and head to your hotel to settle in. After that, the day is yours to explore Finland's capital at your own pace. Check out Senaatintori square and wander through Kauppatori, the lively market in the center of the city. There are some interesting churches worth seeing too, like Temppeliaukiokirkko, which is carved right into the rock, and Uspenski Cathedral with its distinctive red brick exterior. You can cover quite a bit on foot and get a real feel for the city.

- Day 2
Helsinki to Stockholm
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head to the pier for your New Year Cruise. You need to be on board by 3:30 pm, and the ship departs at 5:00 pm. As you sail through the Baltic Sea archipelagos toward Stockholm, there's plenty to do on the ship. You can enjoy a gala New Year's dinner with Nordic specialties, then check out the bars, do some tax-free shopping, try the casino, or catch some entertainment in the evening.

Stockholm
You'll arrive in Stockholm and make your way to your hotel. From there, spend the day walking around this elegant city, which spreads across multiple islands with green parks and tree-lined squares throughout. Head to Gamla Stan, the medieval old town, where you can wander the quiet plots and winding streets filled with craft stalls, art galleries, antique shops, and bookstores. Stop by the Royal Palace, constructed between 1690 and 1754, and take a look at Stadshuset, the City Hall that's actually built on stilts over the water.

Stockholm
Have breakfast at your hotel and then the morning is free for you to do what you'd like. You could take another walk around Stockholm if you want, or use the time to pick up any last-minute souvenirs before heading to the airport on your own. It's a relaxed morning before your departure.
