Mexico City was excellent, but we did do a separate one day tour with another operator that was first class, a walking tour , train and local bus, Freida Kohal house etc. Rest of Mexico was well run except for the last day into Cancun, where we had lunch at a huge tourist restaurant with the hordes, and then our guide left us with the driver to go to Cancun, not impressed. Cuba was good, but far too much driving to the South and the Mini Van was shocking !! Very poor suspension and poor roads. Havana was excellent, and the homestay was great but the last 2 nights were in high rise hotels with mass market meals and restaurants - not what we wanted nor expected. Tipping was a nightmare everywhere we went, not knowing if we paid too little or too much . Overall, a good trip but expensive for what we got !
