Itinerary
- Day 1
Evenes to Svolværs
You'll arrive at Harstad/Narvik airport (Evenes) and catch an airport bus or public transit heading to Svolvaer. From there, it's another bus or hotel transfer to Skårungen near Kabelvaag, taking about 3 hours total. Once you check in at your middle-class accommodation, you'll have views out over the fjord for the next 7 nights. Settle in and get comfortable.

- Day 2
Trollfjord Sea Eagle Safari
You'll board a RIB boat early in the day for a sea eagle safari through Raftsundet toward Trollfjord. Your local guide points out where the sea eagles nest and shares details about the wildlife and coastal culture. The water's cold at high speed, so wear layers under the waterproof suit they provide. Expect powerful Arctic views and the chance to spot these birds in their natural environment.

Landmarks Raftsundet Trollfjord - Day 3
Northern Lights Hunt
The daytime is yours to relax or walk around Skårungen at your own pace. Later, you'll head out in a small group with a guide to search for Northern Lights on the darker side of Lofoten. Your guide shares the region's history and fishing village stories while helping you with photography tips. If conditions cooperate, you'll see the Aurora Borealis doing its thing overhead.

Landmarks Lofoten Islands - Day 4
Snowshoe Hiking
A local guide leads you on a 3-hour snowshoe hike through the winter landscape, with the actual route picked based on current conditions. If snow is lacking, crampons work instead. You'll stop partway through for a warm drink and learn about the region's nature and wildlife. No experience needed, just warm clothes and willingness to get out there.

Landmarks Lofoten Islands - Day 5
Spa Relaxation
After several days outside, you'll take a break at Skårungen's spa village. Access the private spa area with a sauna overlooking the fjord and Vagakallen mountain, plus a whirlpool and changing facilities. If you're feeling bold, take a dip in the Arctic Ocean for a memorable Arctic challenge that'll definitely give you a story to tell.

Landmarks Vågakallen - Days 6 - 7
Free Time & Optional Activities
These final days are flexible. Try cross-country skiing, kayaking, or fishing if you book them on site (there's a fee). Alternatively, just stay put and soak in the Arctic atmosphere around your accommodation. If you're traveling in December, the Lofoten Christmas market happens on four Sundays before Christmas with local food and handicrafts right near where you're staying.

Departure
Check out of your accommodation and take a hotel transfer or bus from Skårungen to Svolvaer. From there, catch an airport bus or public transit to Evenes and Harstad/Narvik airport, taking roughly 4 hours total travel time. Then you're off home or ready to arrange an extension if you'd like.
