Only downside was the flies . They were relentless . So, recommend to others to go a bit later in the year , eg June or July . Nights were cold but days were beautiful

Trip should be graded moderate to hard not introductory to moderate. Mt Sonder & Counts Point in particular are more challanging. Hired sleeping bag was dirty, Tents didnt always have polls & not really large enought for 2 swags.

The leadership provided by Darby was excellent. Would be good for the leader to give a detailed overview of the Environmental procedures at the start of the tour. All the guides were good.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does the tour price include permits?

The price of this tour includes all park permits, food, hiking equipment, two tour guides and vehicle support.

  • Would I be expected to pay extra for my own tent?

Our trips are twin share, however you will only ever be sharing with someone of the same sex.

We can put a note on your file requesting a single tent and our guides will do what they can to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee anything as it depends on the makeup of the group. This will be at an extra cost.
