  • SandraPeters's review about another Dragoman tour
    4.5 - Excellent

Joined a group in process. Made great connections with others joining at same time, but existing group (and one of the guides) was very tight knit. Overall, a great experience and adventure, and I would highly recommend Dragoman tours and plan to travel... Read more

  • KevinKing's review about another Dragoman tour
    5.0 - Excellent

The W trek and Mt. Fitz Roy were the best. I never thought that I would ever have a chance to explore that part of the world. Climbing the Vilaricca Volcano is also something that I can say that got so many admirers. From whitewater rafting to wildlife... Read more

Questions & Answers

Here we have collected and answered the most frequently asked questions about this tour.

  • What is the kitty payment?

Dragoman's Kitty for Cuzco<- ->Santiago (from Cuzco to Santiago) is a group fund for this tour. The group fund pays for camping, hotels, food while camping, activities the group does as a whole (based on the itinerary mentioned above and in the brochure).

The Kitty allows the group to be flexible as the hotels and campsites are not pre booked and booked by the crew while travelling which makes the whole itinerary more adabtable than the traditional tours. Sometimes you can stay an extra night at one location due to a special activity happening at the location, based on the groups wishes. All of these costs are paid at cost price and Dragoman makes no money out of it. Therefore, if money is left over in the Kitty after the tour, it will be paid back to the group members.

Website is easy to use and has a lot of information. I have made two tour reservation through TR. I love it that TR handles the payments so that I don't have to worry about transfer of money to unfamiliar companies.
