  3. Day 3 Drive to Koto (2600m) approx. 5-6 hrs.
  4. Day 4 Commence trek to upper Koto forest camp (2750m). Walk approx. 4 hrs.
  5. Day 5 To Nar Phedi (3500m). Walk approx. 4-5 hrs.
  6. Day 6 To Nar (4100m). Walk approx. 5 hrs.
  7. Day 7 To Kang La Base camp (4900m ). Walk approx. 2-3 hrs.
  8. Day 8 Cross Kang La (5320m) to Ngawal (3660m) and Braga (3450m). Walk approx. 7-8 hrs.
  9. Day 9 To Yak Kharka (4050m). Walk approx 6 hrs.
  10. Day 10 To Thorong Phedi (base of the pass - 4500m). Walk approx 4 hrs.
  11. Day 11 Cross Thorong La (5416m) and to Muktinath (3802m). Walk approx 10-12 hours.
  12. Day 12 To Jomsom (2720m). Walk approx 5 hrs.
  13. Day 13 Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara and onto Kathmandu.
  14. Day 14 Free day in Kathmandu (contingency day).
  15. Day 15 Trip concludes in Kathmandu.

  • Visa
    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before June 14th, 2023 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 14th, 2023, a minimum payment of $500 is required to confirm your booking with World Expeditions. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 75 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and World Expeditions will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "World Expeditions" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
