    Ho Chi Minh City

    You'll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and get settled at your hotel. After you rest from the flight, head out into the streets if you feel up for it. The city has this interesting mix of modern high-rises and traditional markets all packed together, so there's plenty to wander through on foot.

  2. Day 2

    Ho Chi Minh City

    This morning you're heading to Cu Chi Tunnels for a half-day tour. The tunnels are this complex underground network left from the Vietnam War, and you'll walk through them to see how people survived down there. You can try manioc while you're there, and if you want, there's a shooting range where you can fire some vintage rifles.

Once there, you'll cycle to Tan Phong Island to check out artisans making traditional goods by hand. After that, you'll take a rowboat down the canals, join a cooking class, and finish with dinner at a restaurant right on the river.

The town is famous for its glowing lanterns, old architecture that's hundreds of years old, and cafes right along the river.

  6. Day 6

    Hoi An

    You're cycling through the countryside today past rice fields and water buffalo to reach Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village. There you'll learn traditional farming methods and plant some vegetables yourself. You'll get a foot massage, take a cooking class focused on crispy pancakes, then enjoy lunch made from what the farm produces before cycling back.

    Hanoi to Pu Luong Nature Reserve

    You're leaving Hanoi this morning for a 4-hour drive to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. The route follows the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail and has great mountain views the whole way. Lunch is waiting when you arrive, then you'll check out the Cham River to see bamboo water wheels and take a bamboo raft ride through the landscape.
