Arrival
You'll arrive at your hotel and have the afternoon to get settled in. Make sure to check the reception boards later in the day since that's where they'll post information about when your tour officially starts.

- Day 2
Tripoli - Olympia - Patras
Head through the Peloponnese and stop at the Corinth Canal to take in the views. You'll wander around Tripoli's Aeros Square, then spend time at Olympia's Archaeological Site with a local guide who'll show you the Temple of Zeus, Stadium, Gymnasium, and Arena. By evening you reach Patras, where you can see the medieval fortress and the city's largest cathedral.

- Day 3
Nafpaktos - Mycenae - Acrocorinth - Athens
Start by crossing the Rio-Antirrio bridge and checking out Nafpaktos's harbor and Venetian fortress. Then you'll visit Mycenae and explore the ancient citadel that dates back to the 18th century BC, with time to grab lunch. After that you see the Fortress of Acrocorinth and its temple of Aphrodite, swing by the Corinth Canal briefly, and arrive in Athens for the evening.

- Day 4
Athens
This is your free day in Athens. Get out and wander the city at your own pace. Each neighborhood and street has its own character, so take time to discover what interests you most.

- Day 5
Port of Piraeus
Join a panoramic tour that takes you past the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games happened, the National Library, and various downtown squares and Olympic sites. The tour ends near the Acropolis. Later you head to the Port of Piraeus and board an overnight ferry with cabin-like accommodations in a double room.

- Day 6
Marmaris
You'll dock in Rhodes early in the morning and take a city tour of the walled Old Town, which shows influences from Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Knights of St. John, Ottoman, and Italian periods. Around 4:00 p.m., you board an express ferry to Turkey for about an hour. Then you settle into your place in Marmaris, a coastal town known for its castle, marina, and fountains.

- Day 7
Dalyan - Antalya
Head to Dalyan and take a boat ride up the river for about an hour to see the Lycian Rock Tombs. From there you continue by boat to a large lake with natural hot springs where you can swim in the warm water or try a mud bath. You'll have lunch at a riverside restaurant before heading to Antalya to see Hadrian's Gate, the Ottoman district, and a waterfall that flows straight into the sea.

- Day 8
Aspendos - Side - Taurus Mountains - Nigde
Leave Antalya for Aspendos to see its Roman theater, one of the best-preserved in the world. Continue to Side where you can see the Temple of Apollo right by the water and explore the busy port and streets. You'll cross the Taurus Mountains with peaks over 3,500 meters that stay snow-covered most of the year. Stop in Karaman to see the fortress, then head to the Cappadocia region with dinner in Nigde.

Cappadocia
Spend the full day exploring Cappadocia's unusual landscapes, ancient churches, and cave villages. Start at Gumusler, a 7th-century underground monastery with Byzantine frescoes. Then explore Kaymacli's underground city that once held up to 30,000 people. Visit Uchisar's natural fortress for views of the area. After lunch you check out Goreme Valley's open-air museum with rock-cut churches. You'll stay in Avanos with dinner included.

Safranbolu
Travel north through Anatolia's heart where the landscape becomes greener. You'll reach Safranbolu by early afternoon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once an important stop for caravans. Sit down for traditional Turkish tea in a well-preserved caravanserai courtyard. Dinner's included for the evening.

- Day 11
Gökgöl Magrasi - Eregli - Istanbul
Travel along the Black Sea coast through lush green areas. First you visit Gokgol Magrasi cave with its underground river and colorful formations, and the admission is covered. Continue to Eregli, a Black Sea town, where you'll have time for lunch. See the Cehennemagzi caves and tombs with their mythological connections, then arrive in Istanbul by the end of the day.

Istanbul
Start with a comprehensive sightseeing tour that includes the Suleymaniye Mosque, the city's largest, the ancient walls, Golden Horn, and the fishing district. You'll see the outside of Hagia Sophia and get tickets to Topkapi Palace, where the Ottoman Empire's leaders once worked. The palace has wonderful courtyards and pavilions to explore. You have free time in the afternoon. Later you head to Taksim for dinner at one of many restaurants, and you can check out the old tram or visit Galata Tower.

- Day 13
Istanbul Bosphorus
Take a private boat trip on the Bosphorus that lasts around two hours. This waterway connects the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara and splits Istanbul between its European and Asian sides. You'll see lots of boats, pass under the two bridges that connect the continents, and watch Sultan's palaces, traditional wooden houses, and Ottoman architecture go by. Return to central Istanbul with free time to spend as you like.
