Dubai
You'll arrive in Dubai and head to your hotel to get settled in. After dropping your bags, you can decide how you want to spend the evening - either venture out to see the modern architecture and nightlife, or kick back by the hotel pool and take in the city views from there.

Dubai
This is your day to explore Old Dubai and see how the city looked before all the modern development. You'll walk through the Al Fahidi district with its distinctive sandy-colored buildings and tight alleyways, then check out Al Fahidi Fort and the Dubai Museum. After that, you'll take a water taxi across Dubai Creek to Deira and browse the traditional souks where they sell gold, spices, and fish.

Dubai
Your last morning in Dubai starts with a photo stop at the Burj Khalifa so you can check that off your list. You'll have lunch at one of the city's restaurants and spend some time taking in the skyline before heading to the airport for your evening flight to Mauritius.

Mauritius
You'll land in Mauritius early in the morning and pick up your rental car to drive to your accommodation. Once you're settled in, you'll spend the rest of the day relaxing on the white sandy beach, soaking up the sun and getting a feel for the island atmosphere.

Mauritius
You've got options for water activities today. Try stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking on the Grand River South East, paddling through mangroves until you reach a waterfall. Back at your accommodation, you can walk along the beach, and if you're interested, take advantage of the free mountain bike rental to explore the landscape, hunt for hidden waterfalls, and pass through sugar cane plantations.

Mauritius
Today you'll choose which natural spot appeals to you most. Visit the Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao) Hindu temple with its massive Shiva statue, hike through Black River Gorges National Park to the Gorges Viewpoint, check out La Vallée des Couleurs Nature Park and its Seven Colored Earth sand dune, or head to the Chamarel Waterfall. You can pick one or try to fit in a couple depending on timing.

Mauritius
Start your day in Mahébourg at the bustling market where you can sample local street food and observe everyday island life. Then hike up Lion Mountain to get panoramic views of the east coast, turquoise waters, and sandy beaches. If hiking doesn't appeal, you can spend the day relaxing at Pointe d'Esny beach instead.

- Day 8
Mauritius to Mahé, Seychelles
You'll return your rental car at Mauritius airport and then fly to Mahé in the Seychelles. After you arrive and transfer to your accommodation, the rest of the day is for unwinding on the sandy beaches. Explore spots like Anse Soleil and Petite Anse, take a swim in the Indian Ocean, and have a tropical cocktail while you're at it.

Mahé, Seychelles
A boat from Victoria harbor will take you to Sainte Anne Marine National Park for snorkeling in clear waters surrounded by colorful coral and fish. You'll visit several islands including Sainte Anne, Cerf, Longue, Round, and Moyenne. Keep an eye out for eagle rays, seahorses, and sea turtles as you explore the reef.

Mahé, Seychelles
Today you'll explore Mahé's natural side by heading into Morne Seychellois National Park to hike through mangroves and mountain forests. The Trois Frères Trail takes you past carnivorous pitcher plants and unusual flowers up to the second highest point on Mahé, where you'll get views of Victoria and the islands around it. If you prefer something different, take a sunset bus tour to Cap Lazare to see the turquoise waters and charming villages.
