    Asked on September 16th, 2024

Do you have photos of the guest houses, rooms and facilities? What level of difficulty are the treks, and what is the highest or average elevation? What are the recommended methods to travel from the airport to the meeting point at Bukhana, and back from Samarqand?

    Transport
    • Responsible TravelOperatorWritten September 2024

The hikes range from easy to medium difficulty, with most being around 4 hours in length. The exception is the hike from Sentob to Fazilman, which covers 22 km and takes approximately 10 hours. On this day, the elevation gain is 950 meters, the highest of the tour. On most other days, you can expect an elevation gain of 350 to 500 meters. If you arrive on the start date of the tour, we can arrange a pickup for you. The meeting point is centrally located in the heart of Bukhara's Old City, which is within walking distance from most hotels. If your accommodation is in the Old City, you won't need any transportation to reach the meeting point. The tour price includes transfers from Bukhara to the villages and then on to Samarkand. Our transport will drop you off at the final destination in Samarkand.
