Toronto
You'll collect your rental car after landing and drive into Toronto. Canada's biggest city has tons to offer if you want to check things out on your own—good restaurants, nightlife, shops, and bars scattered throughout different neighborhoods.

- Day 2
Toronto to Niagara Falls
Head south through the Niagara Peninsula where orchards and vineyards line the roads. The village of Niagara-on-the-Lake is worth a stop to walk around and browse local shops. From there, you'll drive to Niagara Falls for the included boat tour that gets you up close to the falls. Later you'll head back to Toronto for the evening.

Toronto to Huntsville
Drive north through small villages into Muskoka Country with its pine forests and granite landscape. You'll stop at Muskoka Pioneer Village to see what life was like in the 1800s, then continue to Huntsville, which sits right on the edge of Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario's cottage country.

Huntsville
This day focuses on Algonquin Provincial Park's wilderness. You can walk the hiking trails or take a canoe out on the water to see the landscape up close. Wildlife includes beavers, porcupines, raccoons, and other animals if you're lucky enough to spot them during your time there.

Pembroke/Fort Coulonge to Ottawa
A relatively short drive takes you to Ottawa, Canada's capital. The government buildings have architecture inspired by London, so that area's worth a walk through. Stroll the riverside paths and check out Sparks Street, which is the main shopping district in the downtown area.

Follow the south bank of the Ottawa River as you head to Montreal, the world's second-largest French-speaking city. Montreal to Quebec City
Travel along the St. Lawrence River into Quebec province and arrive in Quebec City. The winding streets have an 18th-century feel to them. Château Frontenac sits on a hill overlooking everything, and the city wall surrounds the old town, which is distinctive among North American cities.

Quebec City
Walk through Upper Town and out to Dufferin Terrace, which overlooks Château Frontenac from across the way. National Battlefields Park is nearby if you want to learn some history. An included boat tour takes you on the St. Lawrence River to see Château Frontenac from the water, plus Cap Diamant, Île d'Orléans, and Montmorency Falls.

Mauricie
You'll explore the lake-filled landscape around the Mastigouche game reserve. If you're into outdoor activities, there's plenty to do here—canoe, kayak, pedal boat, bike, or hike on trails of various difficulty levels. Wildlife like beavers, bears, and moose live in the area, so keep an eye out while you're exploring.

Mauricie to Kingston
Head back into Ontario and stop at Upper Canada Village, a working recreation of a 19th-century pioneer settlement. Later you'll reach the 1,000 Islands area near Kingston, where the landscape changes to forested islands scattered across beautiful lakes and connecting waterways.

Kingston to Toronto
