You'll arrive at the airport where your tour guide meets you for the transfer to your hotel. After settling in, you'll have time to get to know your travel group before calling it a night.

Whitehorse to Skagway
Start with an overview of Whitehorse, Yukon's capital, then drive south on the Klondike Highway with stops along the way. You'll visit Carcross to see the world's smallest desert, check out Emerald Lake, and pass through coastal mountains heading toward Skagway. By evening, stop at the Red Onion Saloon for live music and a feel for the gold rush days.

- Day 3
Skagway to Haines Junction
In Skagway, you'll do a short morning hike around the harbor town, then take a scenic ferry through Lynn Fjord where sea otters, puffins, sea lions, or whales sometimes appear. You'll arrive in Haines with views of the snow-capped Chilkat Mountains, then drive north through Bald Eagle Valley and along the Haines Road to reach Haines Junction.

Haines Junction - Kluane National Park
You'll spend the day in Kluane National Park, Canada's largest national park with diverse wildlife and one of the world's largest contiguous glacier areas. Walk various trails through the largely undeveloped landscape, and from Sheep Mountain you'll have excellent chances to see Dall sheep overlooking Kluane Lake.

Haines Junction to Whitehorse
This morning includes the scenic Auriol Trail hike south of Haines Junction. Later in the evening, you'll leave Kluane Country and drive the Alaska Highway back to Whitehorse.

Whitehorse to Dawson City
You'll see the world's longest wooden salmon ladder and visit the Beringia Center museum with its glacial history and prehistoric exhibits. After that, drive past the mighty Yukon River along the Klondike Highway, stopping at Five Finger Rapids and visiting old post stations and gold rush towns before reaching Dawson City.

- Day 7
Dawson City - Tombstone Mountains
Take a spectacular day hike at the foot of the Tombstone Mountains along the Dempster Highway. You'll experience the striking wedge-shaped mountains rising from tundra and boreal forest, with seasonal colors especially nice in early autumn.

Dawson City
Explore Dawson City's gold rush heritage with a drive to Bonanza and Eldorado Creek, then visit Midnight Dome for great views over the town. In the evening, catch the cancan dance performance at Diamond Tooth Gerties, Canada's oldest casino.

Dawson City to Tok
Take the ferry across the Yukon River and drive the spectacular Top of the World highway with alpine plateaus, boreal forest, and tundra. You'll cross the USA-Canada border at Little Gold Creek, the highest border crossing between the two countries, and continue to Tok.

Tok to Denali
Head west along the scenic Denali Highway, a wilderness route with minimal tourist traffic. You'll drive past unique photo-worthy panoramas and approach Denali National Park's border.

Denali National Park
Take the park's shuttle bus through one of North America's most spectacular landscapes. With good visibility, you might see the Denali peak at 20,310 feet (6,193 m), the highest peak in the USA, and spot Dall sheep, moose, caribou, and bears. You'll return to the hotel by shuttle bus at day's end.

Denali to Seward
Drive along the George Parks Highway past Anchorage and Turnagain Inlet, where white beluga whales sometimes appear. Continue to the Kenai Peninsula with its lush vegetation and reach Seward for the night.

Seward
You'll choose from several activities around Seward: hike in the area, take a boat tour in Kenai Fjord National Park to see glaciers calving into the sea and observe wildlife, or visit the Alaska Sea Life Center aquarium. The restaurants here are known for excellent fish dishes.

Seward to Anchorage
