Nuremberg
Your flight arrives in Nuremberg by 3 pm, then you'll head straight to the Suite Ship and get settled in by 5 pm. Once you're on board, there's traditional holiday food and warm drinks waiting for you after the travel day.

Nuremberg to Regensburg
You can choose between a guided tour covering Nuremberg's medieval architecture, the gilded fountain, Gothic cathedral, and Kaiserburg Castle, or go for the historic Nuremberg Rally Grounds tour instead. After that, you'll have free time to walk through the Christmas Markets, try local Bavarian food like bratwurst varieties, gingerbread, and mulled wine. Live entertainment plays while the ship sails toward Regensburg.

A guided city walk takes you through Regensburg to see the Altes Rathaus and Porta Pretoria, the fortress entrance built back in 179 AD. You'll then browse the Christmas markets on your own, grabbing hot mulled wine, candied almonds, gingerbread, or bratwurst. There's a Christmas Traditions Lecture available on board before you sail toward Passau.

Passau to Melk
Start with a guided city walk to learn about Passau, known as the 'City of Three Rivers.' If you're interested, there's an optional excursion to Salzburg, Austria to see The Sound of Music filming locations and the story of Silent Night. You'll have free time in Passau's Christkindlesmarkt near St. Stephen's Cathedral, then take an evening cruise to Linz before heading to Melk. Live entertainment happens on board.

There's also an optional guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence used by the Habsburg family for 300 years.
