- JSJamie· May 12th, 2024we had a great trip to Jordan, greeted at the airport and visas arranged on arrival. Our driver Mamdouh, who we had for the week, was great. As there were only the two of us he also doubled up as our guide throughout the stay and was welcoming and helpful with whatever we needed. It would have been great to have a bit more time in Petra and Wadi Rum as they were incredible places. Kwan Kew· March 5th, 2024Book2Jordan has always been responsive to my questions. Hatem was very attentive and steered me in the right direction. I had a very good time touring Jordan. He allowed me time to explore and never hurried me. I hoped I did not upset Hassan when his job was taken away from him. Mostly I find that there are always things lost in translation. I also learned that because of the Israel-Gaza War, many tourists cancel their trips leaving drivers with few opportunities for paying jobs. For that, I feel sorry if he lost his job. I did give him a little compensation for his loss and Hatem promised to give it to him. The other thing that did not go well was the farewell dinner. Being that I was the only traveller, I welcomed Hatem's presence at the dinner. He was happy to stay but then we were told that the company's policy does not allow him to do that. I offered to pay for his dinner but he didn't feel right to stay. On my insistence, he stayed to keep me company but still felt uncomfortable and refused to order anything to eat. I have no complaint about him, he just followed the rules. You seem to have no grasp of what is happening on the ground.i.e from dead sea to wadi rum sunset jeep ride was impossible but you insisted to the guide and driver that it was possible.clearly it wasnt. We missed one site due to your miscalculations of time and distances between sites. Everyone was asking whether you are experienced enough in this field. Its my furst time with this company and i certainly would not use you again and would not recommend you to anyone.many of us did wondered why many tourist guide would not work with you.the hotels were substandard.cultural experience is lacking in your intenerary.you dont value your guide and ur driver.
