Itinerary
- Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
You'll arrive at Rio de Janeiro International Airport and get transferred to your Copacabana hotel. The drive gives you views of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, so you'll get a sense of the city right away. After checking in, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around at your own pace and get settled.

- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro City Tour
Your guide picks you up after breakfast for a full day hitting Rio's main attractions. You'll head up to Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado mountain, then pass the Maracana stadium and check out the Lapa arches with the Metropolitan Cathedral nearby. After that, you'll climb the colorful Selarón stairs before riding up Sugarloaf Mountain for views across the city. Lunch is included during the tour, and you'll also visit the Sambodromo to see the carnival space. You're back at the hotel by evening with time to yourself.

- Day 3
Costa Verde Speedboat Tour
This is an early start for the 2.5-hour drive to Angra dos Reis. Once there, you'll board a speedboat and spend the day island hopping to beaches like Ilhas Botinas, Praia do Dentista, Pitangueira, Praia das Flechas, and Piedade. You'll swim and dive in clear water with Atlantic forest all around. After a full day on the water, you'll head back to port and drive back to Rio, arriving in the evening.

Santa Teresa and Historic Rio de Janeiro
A private guide takes you through Santa Teresa, an artistic neighborhood full of galleries, studios, cultural centers, and restaurants to explore on foot. From there, you'll move into Rio's old historic center and walk past important landmarks like the Teles Arches and Praça XV. The whole day focuses on the character and history of these two distinct parts of the city.

- Day 5
Rio de Janeiro to Salvador
Your driver picks you up from the Rio hotel for the transfer to the airport. After landing in Salvador, someone meets you and takes you to check in at your hotel. Salvador was Brazil's first capital and you'll hear about its Portuguese colonial architecture, Afro-Brazilian culture, and the tropical coastline. The Pelourinho historic district has cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and old baroque churches like San Francisco that you can see.

Salvador Panoramic Tour
You'll take a 4-hour panoramic tour around Salvador. The route covers the Península de Itapagipe area including the Senhor do Bonfim church, which matters a lot to local faith, then heads to the Fort of Monte Serrat for views over the Bay of All Saints. You'll pass through a traditional fruit and vegetable market and spend time at Mercado Modelo for local crafts. Later you'll see the Bahia Football stadium before finishing at Barra to visit the historic Lighthouse and Fort of São Antonio where the city's foundation stone was placed.

Departure from Salvador
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll get transferred to the airport for your flight home. This wraps up your time in Brazil. Use the flight back to go through your photos and think back on what you saw in Rio de Janeiro and Salvador over the past week.
