Arrival in Hanoi
Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. After the long flight, you'll check in and have time to rest and settle in for the night.

Hanoi
Following breakfast, head to Thang Long's Imperial Citadel to explore Ly dynasty architecture and history. From there, you'll visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, then the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, and Hoa Lo Prison. Later in the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through the Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake, soaking in the traditional atmosphere and busy streets. The evening is free for you to explore on your own.

- Day 3
Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
You'll travel from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay this morning by limousine shuttle bus, driving through the Red River Delta farmlands. After boarding your junk boat, you'll have seafood while taking in the limestone cliffs and floating communities. During the afternoon, explore the bay by kayak and visit Sung Sot Cave. Stay on the boat overnight and catch the sunset from the water.

- Day 4
Ha Long Bay to Hanoi to Hue
Wake up early for tai chi and sunrise viewing over the bay. After breakfast, visit a limestone grotto before cruising back to the dock. You'll transfer back to Hanoi and board an overnight train to Hue, which takes 14 to 15 hours. The cabins are soundproof with complimentary water, snacks, and fresh bedding included.

- Day 5
Hue

Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then explore the Citadel, Forbidden Purple City, and Dong Ba market. You'll rest overnight in Hue.

In Danang, visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountain, which represents the five elements. You'll arrive in Hoi An late in the day and enjoy a walking tour of the ancient town.

Hoi An
Start with a basket boat ride through the Bay Mau Coconut Forest. Head to Tra Que Vegetable Village and join a cooking class to learn traditional Vietnamese food preparation, then explore local farming activities after lunch.

Ho Chi Minh City
Explore Ho Chi Minh City's major attractions including the General Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Reunification Palace where the Vietnam War officially ended. Drive along Dong Khoi Street and see iconic photos from 1975, then visit the Opera House, People Committee building, and War Remnants Museum. After lunch, take a trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network crucial during the war, then return to the city.

- Day 10
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta to Can Tho
Your guide picks you up at 8 AM for a 2-hour transfer to My Tho in the Mekong Delta. Take a boat trip on the Tien River to Ben Tre province, seeing fish farms and floating fish markets at Dragon Island. Cruise through Ben Truc canal in Ben Tre, the land of coconuts, and watch coconut collection and handicrafts. You'll enjoy seasonal fruits, traditional music, a horse-cart ride through village paths, an orchard visit with honey tasting, and see beekeeping. Take a rowing boat along a water palm creek and have lunch on islets while watching locals make coconut candy. Continue to Can Tho for the night.

Relax at your hotel until your driver picks you up for transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Fly to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where your guide meets you. Start your visit at Wat Phnom, a 15th-century stupa marking the city's legend. You'll visit the Independent Monument with its historic Naga motifs and the Bronze statue of Late King Norodom Sihanouk. Have dinner at a local restaurant and check into your hotel.

Phnom Penh

Leave Phnom Penh after breakfast and travel to Siem Reap through 3 provinces (Kandal, Kampong Cham, and Kampong Thom) in about 6 hours. Meet your English-speaking guide and visit the Royal Residence & Royal Garden and Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm Shrine with sacred statues from Angkor Wat. Continue to Wat Preah Prum Rath, the second oldest pagoda in Siem Reap. Check in at your hotel, have dinner at a local restaurant, and spend 1 hour shopping at Angkor Night Market before strolling Pub Street.

Kulen Mountain and Angkor Eyes
Travel about 1 hour to Kulen Mountain, a huge plateau northeast of Siem Reap. Visit the 1000 Lingas River, an important Angkor period site where King Jayavarman II proclaimed independence from Java in AD 802. Discover the Siem Reap River source and hundreds of sacred lingas carved under the water. Have lunch at a mountain restaurant, then stop at Pradark Village to see locals making palm sugar and handicrafts. Return to town and enjoy sunset at Angkor Eyes, the 85-meter Ferris wheel with panoramic views of Siem Reap and Angkor Wat temples. Have dinner at a local restaurant.

Luang Prabang
This morning, visit Wat Visoun, home to the impressive Thad Makmo stupa with its distinctive Sinhalese-style rounded dome. Continue to Wat Aham, then visit Vat Xiengthong, the most photographed temple at the end of the peninsular near the confluence of the Mekong and Khan Rivers. This afternoon, explore the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum, and visit Wat Mai, which features golden bas-relief and displays the Prabang during Lao New Year.

Take the ferry across the Mekong to Ban Xiemienne village and walk to Wat Long Khoun temple, historically important to Luang Prabang's royal family. Board a traditional long-tail boat for a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, enjoying mountain scenery and rural lifestyles. Reach Pak Ou Caves at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers, where 2 caves display hundreds of centuries-old Buddha images. Cruise back and visit Ban Xangkhong, a weaving village, where you can try the wooden looms yourself.

This afternoon, drive through green rice paddies to Kuang Si Waterfall. Take a short scenic walk to visit the bear rescue center and see orchids within the park. Experience the falls cascading over calcified tiers into turquoise pools, then return to Luang Prabang.
